EcoToolsLoofah Bath Sponge

This loofah is great, but it takes time for it to get there.1. For the first week this loofah is rough and scratchy. Seriously scratchy. I've always been fond of 'scratchy' soaps with exfoliating particles and nubs and such, but this thing takes it a level beyond. It can be uncomfortable.However, bear with it, and it seems to "break in" and reach a good level of exfoliating 'roughness' without being uncomfortable or irritating.2. The rope is attached oddly. It goes through the center, but then through the side as well. Even after the loofah was broken in, I found it annoying when it would turn in such a way that I was rubbing the rope on my skin. Fortunately, the knot came loose pretty quickly, at which point I decided to take it out of the side, and leave it just running through the middle. I figured it might not be strong enough, and might tear out, but I could easily make another hole and reattach it.So far, it's held just fine in the center. It doesn't weigh much, and there's never any reason to be tugging on the rope, so the material is plenty strong. Next one, I'll untie the rope and change this immediately.This loofah is so much better than the grocery store "bath poufs" of nylon netting. It feels better, it lathers well, it exfoliates better and leaves you feeling cleaner. I haven't tried a ton of loofahs to compare, but am very happy with this one and for the price am not bothered by replacing it when the time comes.The only real cons are the initial 'break-in period' where it is way too rough, and that I haven't found it to be quite as efficient with body wash as I expected. Maybe I haven't figured out the method yet, but it seems like it takes more soap to get a good lather than the crummy bath poufs do. Oh well, I'll take that trade-off.

I love how the loofah came non-expanded to save shipping costs. It's a great idea and I'm totally for saving money and the environment at the same time.This loofah does what it's supposed to do - lather you up and scrub off all the dirt from your body. It leaves me feeling nice, fresh and soft! The only issue is during the first few times of use, it's a bit difficult to absorb the soap. I used it more to scrub soap off my body than to lather soap on.However, I have no complaints. I would rather use this than the shower puffs because those break so easily. I have had too many bad experiences with them breaking, I just needed something sturdier. This is where the ecotools loofah came into play.

The shipping was faster than the original date of delivery, so that's a plus. It's smaller than I expected and not as rough as I expected as well, but overall its a good product. Wish I could've bought it from Wal-Mart, instead of ordering it online for the shipping fees and such. I'd recommend it if your local Wal-Mart was out like mine was as well.

I bought because of the danger of bacteria contamination on the puffy scrubbers. It does a good job of exfoliating your skin and the rope handle is good for hanging to dry. It is small but still does a good job

This loofah is a fairly good size for your hand, and I have been pleased with mine. Be prepared, however: when brand new, this (like many loofahs) is pretty rough going. Unless you really want to rip off your delicate hide, take it easy when using this sponge until it begins to soften up a bit with repeated use.

Works well

This loofah seems to be the only loofah that I like.All other brands that I've tried are either too soft, not abrasive enough, or they fall apart quickly.This one has substance, a really strong scrub, and lasts a long time.After a while, all loofah sponges need to be replaced, as the warm moist air of the bath tends to grow mold eventually.This one will last you months.

I love it, it's different from other bath sponges in the sense that it removes those parts of the skin that other softer sponges wouldn't, which leads to healthier skin.

Had a first shower with it. It's a loofah alrite. Give it a shot.

Very inconvenient… super hard, not bendable. ITs just not a good accessory

Excellent product. Easy toUse for everywhere except my back. I would need a longer one for that. But I didn’t want one for that. Perfect for my arthritic hands and wrists to use.

I had been looking for just this type of loofah to replace a previous one which had worn out. It exfoliates gently and feels great to use.
