Scrabble Style Letter Stencils for Painting Signs & Tiles, 5 Inch, Reusable & Thick

It arrived on time. They are sturdy stencils. I bought them for my 5in wooden tiles. I had to use painters tape to center them so the number was more on bottom right. I have 4 stars because it was hard to keep them from bleeding. But they are great if you are not artistic or don’t have a steady hand to do free hand!!

There's a learning curve with these. I don't understand everyone complaining about the size, they give the dimensions. If you buy 5" tiles, you're good to go. Assembling my project to hang tomorrow.Using spray adhesive helps to stop bleeding or if you paint/stain your tiles, lay your stencil down and do another coat or 2 of paint/stain. Let it dry then apply final desired paint color. Helps the issue with bleeding.

We purchased these stencils to create a scrabble board for the entry way to our church. We cut our own wood in 5X6 inch tiles because the tiles needed to look like squares when sitting in the one inch "tray" which is actually corner molding mounted on the wall. The stencils are the perfect size and everyone LOVES the scrabble board (which I am changing each month to a different bible verse)

So glad I decided to purchase these instead of hand painting my tiles like originally planned. I had to search YouTube for proper stenciling technique and do a couple practice runs but after that they all worked perfectly! Would highly recommend. Also, the wood I used in picture was 1"x6" cut into 5" sections and sanded, I think these letters were perfect size for it!

The stencils are perfect, however, I ordered 5inch letters and they are only 4inches. The entire stencil itself is 5inches but the letter is only 4in.

They are really sturdy and great quality. I am just having trouble with bleeding while painting. My problem, not the stencil!
