Gospel centered bite of steak, short yet faithful exposition of the Word
I was thoroughly pleased to see how faithfully Gospel centered this devotional is. Devotionals can swing from feel good ‘thoughts for the day’ to thorough exposition of God’s Word. I believe this one is more towards the latter. That being said it is one central Biblical truth but it is a morsel of meat that will fuel you for the day!I like that the print size is legible, maybe 10 pt. There is room to underline and even jot down a note or two! It is 100 not 365 devotions. It progresses through three stages of thought; wondering who we are, discovering who we are, and becoming who we are! Color, quality pages, seems well bound.

A timely and necessary resource
There has never been a time when the search for identity and significance is as visible as it is today, yet it’s universal, a problem for all people and all times. Abraham, Jacob, David, Peter, Paul—not one understood who they were until God told them. Thankfully, they were crazy enough to believe what God said to be true. Recently, I sat in a room with 15 other long-time believers, missionaries, pastors, and ministers among them. When asked the question, “Who are you?”, no one seemed to know. We floundered around with explanations about our personality, habits, hobbies, and work. It was as if we’d never pondered the question before. Some of us quoted the truth of Scripture, but no one seemed to believe the truths for themselves. What I appreciate about this devotional is that it asks the question everyone is asking. “Who am I?”, and then builds a rich repertoire of truth on which to ruminate. Each entry is simple, concise, relatable, and rich, and each is founded on the word of God. I’m thankful for this timely and necessary resource.

One of the best things to come from my wandering in the wilderness ...
After 64 years of living in a 20 mile radius in rural Louisiana, I moved to the "Big City" in Texas and lived for 4 years. It was a rude awakening to the invisibility felt by many when living in a foreign land. One of the best things to come from my wandering in the wilderness of anonymity was the reassurance of who God is and how He felt about me~it is consistent where ever I am. Most of us spend a lifetime searching for our identity~BUT GOD knows who we are before we ever take our first breath. Len Wood's book, Who Am I in Christ , systematically explains the reason we search for our identity and where our identity can be found. For new believers and the old guard as well, this is an excellent tool and reminder of the truth of who we are in Christ. A systematic and well written devotional, I highly recommend this jewel of truth for any follower of Christ.Rose Publishing Co. provided me with an advanced read copy of this book.

On-point, clear and candid devotionals for anyone.
As someone who has faced profound struggles in life, I have also known incredible grace from God. I know with grateful certainty who I am in Christ, but have still endured seasons of "not feeling it," as Len Woods titled one of the short, on-point devotionals in this book. Each reading is clear and candid, written in an easy conversational style. Using examples and individuals from today, Woods reminds us of basic truths about who we are as Christians. He follows each devotion with a brief reflection and a simple prayer. I felt like I was sitting down with a good friend, sharing faith and struggles honestly, and being encouraged by someone who knows my tendency to seek and doubt simultaneously. Who I am In Christ offers the sweet peace and clarity of God for any reader, whether a new Christian or a seasoned one. The format is designed for the hectic, distracted pace of today, but the material is solid and biblical.

A devotional grounded in the Bible
One of the great challenges for all Christians is to learn that following Jesus isn’t first about changed behavior, but a changed identity. In this devotional, Len Woods guides his readers through an understanding of who we are in Jesus. In a world where success is judged through the lens of performance, the truth in this devotional is as timely as it is engaging. Rather than offering shallow, chicken-soupy pep talks, Woods gives us what we need the most: the Word of God. I recommend Who I am in Christ to any person who has ever felt weary, ashamed, or defeated.- A pastor from LouisianaRose Publishing provided me with an advanced reader copy.

Powerful tool to reach teens and young adults
I read five of the devotions and truly loved them. I thought they were short but well written and the overall theme is so powerful and timely. As an administrator at a university, I see so many college students who struggle with the issue of self esteem and who they are. During this age of technology and social media, I believe self esteem issues among teens and young adults has only gotten worse. These devotionals could be a very powerful tool to reach teens and young adults with the message of Truth from God's Word.
