Range Meal Bar - High Calorie Meal Replacement Bars - Gluten Free Bars - Backpacking Meals - 6 Pack (Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Coffee)

Got these for a long backpacking trip (will be a no stove trip). It’s hard to find a high calorie, portable food source. Hubby loves coffee and said these are good. He said they’re not gourmet, in other words he doesn’t want to eat it all in three bites, but was a good source of grazing food with a lot of calories. I haven’t tested it yet, but I hope their claim that it doesn’t freeze is valid. So many meal bars get hard as a rock when they get cold. Will update after the hike if anything changes.

Bought these for cycling. They are quite dense (heavy) and not small. But they do fit in a back jersey pocket. My main complaint is the price - over $6 per bar. But to carry the same number of calories in a cookie or fig bar or other product would require carrying a much bigger quantity than one of these bars.

Seems an excellent backpacking meal bar. Used during day long outings while hunting. Kept me full and clean contents so no digestive issues. Will buy again for the right needs.

The molasses ones are a bit bitter tasting with a slight saltiness, but edible. They are indeed filling and did the job for my trip. I would probably get a different flavor next time however.

I’m so grateful for this product. My sister has cancer and is struggling to keep on weight and this being clean and high in calories is really a god send at this point. Her being able to eat 1 or two of these a day has made a world of a difference, they’re pricey but worth every penny.

Did not like the taste at all. Dry, dense. Very disappointed..

I was really hoping to like these bars for an easy breakfast on my thru hike. I’m glad I tested them out before going because I did not like them at all. They are extremely dense and just too hard to swallow. I couldn’t even finish half the bar. The taste is too intense and sour. I wish I could have purchased a single bar to try because now I have a whole box that will go to waste.

I picked these up for the GORUCK Recon HTB in San Diego. Liked the simple ingredients, weight to calorie ratio, and packability. The flavor is good and they’re filling. They never melted in the packaging. Texture is good compared to other bars.Highly recommend them!
