Alien God: Brides of the Stone Sky Gods, Book 1

We get a glimpse of Wylfrael a Stone Sky God in the last Warriors of the Sea Sand novel. He's fighting another of his kind and disappears through a stone door taking him with him. Just that hint of these nee characters was enough for a reader like me to say who are they , where do they come from and oh please are we going to see them again? And low and behold here we are with this first book in a new seris that f this book is any indication is going to be fabulous! We learn most of the back story and the major players in this first novel. Earth gov and what looks to be a joint military effort has once again tried too invade another world without really knowing what they are getting into. If they though the Sea Sand Warriors were formidable now enter the Stone Sky Gods that have powers beyond what any human can think of. Wylfrael, has return from a centuries healing sleep to his home only to find it being invaded by humans. When he repels the enemy he finds a female left behind. Torrance is an Astrophysicist she was stolen from her home along with many other women with unique skills and knowledge. Their own governments have done this to them! They work gathers resources from other places, and they've only just realized that the teams being all women was not an accident. Earth is planning something, they're just not sure what. When she and her team are attacked on this strange planet they realize that this is not an uninhabited world. She's taken by Wylfrael, and a whole new world opens up to her. There is distrust and suspicion between them, but when they are finally able to communicate, many things clear up and new problems arise in their place. Eternity takes in new meaning and it will make you think about the beauty of only having a short while to complete all you wish to before its your turning the afterlife. Would you truly want to live forever knowing everyone you know and love will pass on leaving you alone? This book was so fabulous. The world building is terrific the character have chemistry and the story is well written! I can't wait to see what the second book in the series holds. Torrance is left behind when Wylfrael comes out the sky and chases the spaceship away. Wylfrael takes Torrance prisoner but can't bring himself to hurt her. Much happens. So enjoy.This book is very detailed lots of word pictures!

OMG you did not disappoint Ursa!!! I can’t wait for the next book in the installment, I know I am so tempted to buying both series but I wanna wait until you’re close to finishing the stories in order to buy them. I am so in love with your style of writing. You are definitely one of the three authors that I read books from that has a similar feel that I won’t hesitate to recommend to my friends. not only that you have a diverse of characters with different background and different personalities you name it, but the story style in telling do not disappoint girl Keep it up. When it came to alien romances that I have read, they seem to fall flat with of the characters because of their personality. You couldn’t tell the characters apart. It was so depressing and boring, but I find this so fascinating when I find an author that gets out of her comfort zone and plays around with the characters and you could relate with these characters from all walks of life and background. We need more authors like you. keep it up and I will keep on being your biggest fan.

I love a beauty and the Beast type of story. I don't agree at all with the reviews complaining about torrence being mean to the guy that locked her up. I would be mad too! She was made homeless and kidnapped, and that was before she got kidnapped again! I really liked seeing a heroine who didn't immediately fall for the jerk. That was the best part. Unfortunately, there were far too many pages that didn't feel like they advanced the plot. You could read the first 50 pages and skip the next 150 without losing practically anything. That's the not good part. There is such a thing as too much world building. There was more than once I almost dnfed the book entirely. It's only around page 300 that the plot picks up again and feels like the right pacing. I love Ursa Dax, and the overall story was great, but in the future, I hope the word/ page count gets whittled down a bit to more necessary things.Some spoilers about unneeded reminders: We didn’t need to be reminded 20 times about the mortality of the gods when they mate. We didn't need to read the description of what Wylfrael looks like 1000 times and how alien he was compared to torrence. We didn't need to be told over and over that the other sky gods go mate mad and lose their stars. We didn’t need reminders of what the foz people in his employ looked like, bor was the scenes with the people around the city at all necessary to the plot. Thise could have all been a paragraph or two. Dozens of pages going on and on about these things could have been left out and made the story a 5 star book from me. So this story gets 3/5. It's still worth the read, but there are lots of pages you can skip until the last 150 pages or so.

In a few words- absolutely stunning o.m.f.g.In many words- girl you ATE with this one. Amazing world building check. Strong af funny af relatable af MC check. Sexy hot alien god who is basically everything a grirl could want check. And the spice.....!!!!! thought I would miss our beloved sandy boys but honestly this was top tier I was immediately immersed so deeply into this world I read it in one sitting and was kicking my feet giggling uncontrollably wow wow and the twist at the end! I had to take a quick lap with that one! Shooook. But anyways all my love to wylfy boy he was absolutely chefs kiss. I usually like most male leads but wylf was very easy to fall in love with (quickly for me!)and gosh so so well written I must say. Both characters were. I loved the banter and good gravy the 'sham marriage and having to pretend to love one another but everyone knows we aren't pretending trope'!!! Could not get enough! This was such a fun read. I'm excited to see where to series goes but I already miss Torrance and wylf 🫶

A great read and I loved the connection with the other series too, which i have already read. They just don’t know what's going to hit them when they tangle with human women. Lol, love it!!

What a breathtaking story! Beautiful world building, fascinating characters and a believable change from being enemies to becoming lovers. The author immediately drew me into her story, making me smile and laugh and suffer and cry with the protagonists. I cannot wait for the next book of the series to be released!

Great to get a continuation of the Stone Sky Gods we were first introduced to in the Sea Sands Warlords books. Thoroughly enjoyed this story and the main characters progression to fated mates was a joy to follow, can't wait for the next book!
