Brings in the birds!
Finches, chicadees, sparrows, Stellar Jay's and even a couple of ring necked pigeons come. Great fun to watch on our deck.

High Quality No Waste
Our local stores don’t sell anything near this quality. There are no “fillers” that will go to waste - every scrap of this food consistently disappeared out of the feeder this summer with zero waste. We were feeding towhees, grosbeaks, Stellar’s jays, finches, and several smaller colorful songbirds. The birds loved this seed mix. Yes, it is expensive. However, I tried a couple of other cheaper brands and we ended up with moths several times, along with wasted “filler” materials that the birds would not eat. Will be sticking with this mix from now on for summer feeding.

Scotts Colorful Bird Seed
I have to say that Scotts out numbers the cheaper brands of bird seed many times over. I ran out of Scotts and used some other wild bird seed until I could buy more....... needless to say most of the birds did not return!! It definitely atracts 2x more happier and colorful birds.

Expensive but worth it!
My birds love it but have now had to put them on a diet as they seem to consume more than I can afford. I have tried cheaper seed and fewer birds come. Highly recommend any of the Scott's brand bird seed.

Great deal of waste!
This food includes a massive amt of thistle/niger seeds. I have very large variety of birds since I have a large platform feeder. The bottom is covered in those because NONE of my birds eat them. Not sure if poor quality or what, but I have to brush them out of the tray a few times a day. Basically you pay a lot and get junk. Going back to Wild Delight... expensive but every single bit of it is eaten so worth it.

less waste....
I can't vouch for keeping away those nasty, pesky birds that no one wants to feed because I haven't seen many this spring. There might be more of those that come around in the fall or summer months...so I will update my review if anything changes. We put this seed in a hopper feeder & have had considerably less waste than with other bird seed. I just went out to check the ground around the feeder & didn't see any bird seed on the ground...so they must like all of this seed. So far house finches, cardinals, & tufted titmice along with one squirrel have visited our feeder. I'm going to try this in one of our tube feeders, too. Because there's less waste, we aren't filling the hopper feeder as often as we do when we use other types of bird seed. The pour spout makes filling the bird feeder much easier & should also help keep out those moths that seem to find their way into our bird food.We are nature lovers & give this seed 4 stars. (I will update with any findings I feel are pertinent.)edited to add: we use the Heath Outdoor Products FS-1 Feed Scoop-Funnel to fill our bird feeders & sock feeders. Sure makes everything easier & less messy.
