The stock items that come with diesel heaters can have some substandard parts in them. This kit solves those shortcomings. The dreaded green, wimpy fuel line is replaced with a more substantial line that allows the pulse pump to do its job better. The weak hose clamps get replaced with quality 9-11mm mini-fuel injector clamps. The fuel filter in this kit is a little sturdier than the one included with pumps. The fuel line connections to the filter, pump, and heater utilize short pieces of 3/16" rubber fuel line that slip over the plastic line and the nipples on the other hardware. This kit includes 5, I wish they included one more. I didn't use the fuel tank that came with the heater and needed another piece of rubber fuel line to connect with the tank I used. It's priced below the cost of all the parts separately and saves the searching time.

I have one of these little heaters in my camper. They all come with what looks like tygon fuel line, but it isnt, as diesel causes it to break down after a couple of years. Nylon is supposed to be much better than the fake tygon line they come with. Now the way i know its not true tygon fuel line is i have true tygon fuel line coming from the 5 gallon aluminum tank on the tongue, to the water seperator, and from there to the first filter. Then from that filter it is this nylon line to the secondary filter, pump, and to the heater. And out of 16' i had maybe 16" left over. Oh and i like the screw down hose clamps much better than tye spring clamps the heaters come with.

If your diesel is like the "Vevor" brand heater or anything similar this kit is not compatible at all. There is nothing in this kit that will fit. The hose is much smaller in diameter, and I tried to heat it up to make it fit with no avail. With the majority of heaters using the same components this kit is made for the minority and the seller should list the model# to ensure compatibility. I would look elsewhere.
