THE ULTIMATE VERSION OF BLAZBLUE (so far...)I've been following the blazblue series since its beginning. the three games in the series "Calamity trigger", "continuum shift", and "chrono phantasma" started out on the last gen consoles (which also had extend editions available) and now the most recent third game gets an xbox one /ps4 re release in an Extend edition. Now I'll admit I've always been a casual fan of the games, always had a blast with them but never got too invested. But then I got wind of this next gen port and "hell why not. The last one I played was continuum shift and I liked that one".But what I wasn't expecting was how much more invested I would be in this game. I always thought this series had a decent amount of content and modes available, but this game takes it even further. It has an even larger story mode than before (they even added a section covering the previous games for people who want to catch up/understand), there's more single player modes, loads more characters, unlockables (not dlc) that you obtain in the gallery with earned game points such as character colours and extra stages etc......There's just so much more stuff than some other fighting games out there.Fighting mechanics are solid and the animations are easy on the eyes. Go on youtube to get a better idea of what type of game this is as that will explain much better than this text review (and it'll only take you a minute to look). The only negative I can think of is that the visuals are identical to the ps3/xb360 blazblue games (it is just a port, after all). There are no graphical improvements as such, so don't expect a big jump in terms of looks. But the game is just so darn good, with so much content, I just can't take a star away. With the price being lower now you really aren't gonna regret giving this game a go. It was worth the full price so it's definitely worth it at reduced. Also keep an eye out for the 4th game in the series "central fiction" which is due out soonish!or if you have a ps4, check out Guilty Gear Xrd, which is made by the same people who made Blazblue :)

Excellent game
this is an amazing game, especially for under £10.starts pretty simple but is surprisingly complex once you get into it. animations are great, characters are varied and interesting and the combat is extremely smooth and fast.really enjoying it.

FINALLY! A decent fighting game for Xbox One!
BlazBlue is pretty new to me as I usually like Street Fighter Tekken KI and MKX - but I have to say I'm really impressed byt his.The range fo characters is unbelievable - some supeperfast car girl with insane claws, a dude that fight alongside a massive robot, some chick who fights with guns, but right up close. Seriously, I've never seen a figting game like it - every character it totally, totally different that it feels unlike any fighting game I've ever played. It also looks amazing - it's 2D, but visually it so intense and so colourful, it makes KI and MK X look so boring in comparison. It's alos insanely fast - like, the fastest fighting gaemI've ever played. It takes some gettingn used to - but the game has some really good tutoraials and stuff to teach you the baiscs for every characer, so tyou can eget to a pretty decent level of play really quickly.Never thought i'd say thi when I biugh ti ti - but it's easily the best fightig game on Xbox One right now, not just by a bit, but by miles. Nothing else comes even close to how good this game is.
