MCRAET1 Hot Weather Performance Combat Boot in Coyote

Great for Garrison
I’d had the McRae mil-spec hot weather boots for the past 5 years and even though I really needed a new pair, I was pretty reluctant to give them up. They’d been extremely functional in field environment, but I wanted to try a lighter style boot now that I’m working mostly in garrison. I stuck with the McRae brand, and I’m very pleased about the decision. They’re a perfect fit - not too big or too small for me. I tuck my laces in and wear my boot blouses around the boot, yet I don’t feel any uncomfortableness throughout the day. I highly recommend this if you’re seeking comfort in your boots.

Pretty good. Just one thing needs improvement
Bought these almost 7-8 months ago. Fit exactly like a sneaker/running shoes. Amazing grip on wet or dry surface. When wet they dry out pretty quick ,had to used a water cannon to clean trucks in the rain. Does hold heat on you , if cold outside wear thicker socks. Did change the sole to a thicker one after 2 months. Original sole was too slick and shifted, but after that no other issues. 1 quality compliant- the pad cushion/ vents over ankle bone need to be stronger. Got snagged on something and ripped open the outer layer. Cushion never fell out, super glued in and no issues. Still wearing them , great buy.
