A better Float charger?
I need a charger that puts out more than the 1-2 amps of a normal float charger. For some reason my truck can sit for a week or a day (it's random) and have a dead battery (actually it has 2 batteries). I'm fed up with it, the drain is random and I can't find it, neither can the dealer and I'm going through batteries every year.I picked this charger up to plug in and let it maintain the batteries anytime it's in the driveway. I hard wired it in and have a cord close to the truck to plug it in. Hopefully this will keep me from having those random discharges and save some battery life. All these recharges is very hard on them.This seems to have plenty of functions available that line up exactly for my needs. I'll update after using it a few months if I have any trouble. If you don't see an update, then this really is the best battery saver ever made.
