Beadalon7 Strand Stainless Steel Bead Stringing Wire, 0.010 in / 0.25 mm, Bright, 100 ft / 31 m

I've used this for two beading projects and it works great. I did think it was a little expensive as are most craft supplies and tools.

I ordered this beading wire by mistake (didn't realize it was 7-strand). Amazon told me to keep it. A few week later when I compared it to the 49-strand roll I later bought, I notice that the roll seemed to be half empty in thickness and width (the white plastic roller is showing). It looks like someone had used up half of the roll before returning it to Amazon. Buyers should check the roll as soon as possible to see if it is not being tempered with.

I am new to jewelry making, so I missed that this was 0.010" 7 strand wire and not 0.015" 7 strand wire I was getting it to replace. That said, it is very nice wire - flexible - strong - resistant to kinking. I had to use smaller crimp beads for my illusion bracelets, but they came out even better than with the thicker wire. As I get more practice I will like this thinner wire even better. I do like that this spool is 100' instead of the 20' one. I will buy this 7-Strand Stainless Steel Beadalon Wire again as needed.

Although this is only the second wire I purchased (the other was 49-strand, .019") it seems of very good quality. Being new to this, I agree the "break weight" info would help a lot. Planning to use it for liquid silver beads and silversilk to make a bracelet and hope it will withstand some accidental yanking. I used it for a pair of earrings with 1mm crimps (quite a pain to get it right) and was able to easily pass it twice through the crimp. Good part: no needle required. BUT, the plastic coating tends to fray after multiple passes through SS beads. Allow a little extra length to trim as needed if using for long strands of beads with rough holes.

First timer on Beadalon Wire. I'm amazed at such type of beading wire. Absolutely astonished. It's so super tiny. Smaller than a needle and strong enough not to snap in half nor break in half if bent. You'd likely have to be determined to succeed at destroying it just because. I'll use it to strand fresh water pearl bracelets and necklace sets with tiny hole's. I totally recommend. Price was RIGHT.

Works very well for my needs: rigging small sculptural elements; it's flexible and easily tied/knotted. The bad: it would be very helpful to have the "break" weight in the product copy and/or on the packaging.

Arrived as expected and good quality to make beaded bracelets and necklaces.

This is a very superb wire for jewelry making projects. It is amaingly strong and durable. I love and will get it again and again.

Like this as it's more flexible than the tiger tail. Will be buying again in the no too distant future.
