Sanctuary (Kindled Book 6)

Sanctuary
I don’t have enough words to describe how much I enjoyed this book. It is a standalone, but it’s probably better to have at least read the previous book, Citadel, to get the most from it. This is filled with fantastic characters. Breanna is an amazing woman, sacrificing so much for her sister’s safety. Aidan is initially quite enigmatic, but we find out more about him as the book progresses. Both are so damaged by events in this new world, but are so resilient and so deserving of love. Got to admit, I shed a tear or two for them and finished the book feeling warm and happy for them.

Sanctuary - a fab read
Great story, enjoyable read, great addition to the series. Hoping that there will be more to cover off the new characters introduced. Definately worth reading.

Loved it
I was really looking forward to Aidan and Breanna's book after Citadel and Sanctuary definitely lived up to my expectations. I loved the tension and competition between the two and how Claire included snippets from Aidan's past as it would have been all too easy to take his actions at surface level and completely side with Breanna during their little altercations when they met on the road. There was plenty of romance and action along the way and I'm glad these two found their way back to each other in the end.

Best slow burn apocalyptic romance series
I love this world so much. I devour every new book. If you love strong, rough men, strong women, and apocalyptic romance, this series is for you. Can't wait for Homestead.

Another great entry in the Kindled series
I was really interested in seeing where Breanna’s story took her after having been initially introduced in Citadel, and this ended up being a quick and lovely story to read. Breanna and Aidan are a good match and complement each other so well, and I’m glad we got this story about finding love and acceptance after heartbreak. I also loved the merest hint we got in this book about Faith and Jackson’s life after their book, Haven (which is still my favourite book in the Kindled series!).I love the world Claire Kent has created in her Kindled series. I’m hoping for more books in this series beyond Homestead and Mack & Anna’s long-awaited book - or at least a spinoff series!

Breanna and Aiden
I'm so glad Claire Kent decided to continue this series. Each new book brings us new characters to root for.Breanna is Del's older sister. For years after society collapsed, she's done whatever and whoever would keep her and Del safe. While she went into the arrangements of sex in exchange for safety, there has never been a time when she willingly engaged in intimacy. Now that they're in a safe community and Del has Cole, it's time for Breanna to make choices just for herself. One of them is becoming a courier for her community as well as others to bring in different supplies. She's at odds with Aiden, someone who has been trading in the area and has claimed it as his territory.I'm going to be honest when I saw that this was going to Breanna's story, I was curious how it would play out. She was very adamant that she would no longer allow any man to touch her. Aiden seemed like a man who didn't care who he associated with so long as he got paid. How would they go from being at odds with each other to into a relationship? I really liked how he decided to go at Breanna's pace. Yes, he makes some mistakes along the way, but I do think he managed to redeem himself.I'm excited to read the next book in the series, especially after that sneak peek. I kind of already love those characters.

True love story
I am thoroughly enjoying this series and looked forward to Brianna’s story after what she had done to survive and protect her sister Del. The evolution of the relationship between Brianna and Aiden was perfect, dealing with serious emotional issues honestly and with hope, allowing growth and self forgiveness and redemption. Please keep writing I can never get enough of your work.
