Veep: Season 2 [DVD] [2012] [2014]

So good you can't bear to watch. Every character is in some way awful and sad and equipped with killer lines. Hyper real, but you do believe that this is the way the uselessness of high political office and the poison of ambition hollow out people's souls. Compelling.Sally Phillips fans won't want to miss her classy guest appearance. Gary Cole makes a slippery return to the West Wing. He really convinces you that competent people should never be allowed to be in charge.

As with most of the other reviews this is superb TV. better than season 1. I've been a fan of Armando Iannucci's work for sometime; "the thick of it" etc. This is just pitch perfect. Julia is a very talented comedic actor. All of the supporting actors fit in so well. The put downs make me cringe and laugh out loud. This is definitely a series I can watch again and again, for me the ultimate test of greatness.

...as is the rest of the cast.Not quite as good as the first series but still brilliant....Louis-Dreyfus is awesomely Brentish in her pratfalls...takes a lot to play such a self-serving character so well

Absolutely hilarious. One serious point to note is how scared USA Politicians are of their public in terms of approval ratings. Perhaps, in UK we need to have an approval rating button on our TV so that when we come home at night after work we can put some pressure on our elected officials

Nice quick delivery, very sharp and darkly funny. In the mould of The Thick of It. Surprised Americans get it

Hilarious, though not as good as seasons 1 and 3.

Totally addicted --not possible but this series just gets better and better and is certainly one for our "re-watchable collection". The only downside is that I have to wait so long for the next series!Another of the In group to be recommended to like thinking friends!

Was a gift for someone else so not sure if the show is good. I assumed it was because it's Elaine :-) and own lots of awards in America.Delivery was fast but I do have prime.Arrived in suitable packaging. No complaints.
