Bought the unit for my son for Christmas and after a few months it stopped charging. Took me a while to get info as I live in a different part of the state. Contacted them and they sent a replacement battery in less than 2 weeks and happy to report, it is as good as new. No shipping charges and no issues with it being slightly out of warranty period. Would recommend RAZOR products to anyone. If I could give them 6 stars, I would.

Purchased two Razor Power Core E100 Electric Scooters for my 7 and 9 year old grandchildren for Christmas. My husband said they were easy to assemble. So far, they have proven to be very sturdy and the batteries have stayed charged as long as ever needed. Both grands say they are one of their favorite things they received as gifts.

I bought this for my 8yo daughter in December of 2020. I’ve since realized Buying a scooter over the winter holidays is a flawed strategy if you live in a climate w snow, as the scooter didn’t see real use until spring of 21, a long time after purchase.She weighs around 70 lbs and is quite agile and athletic fit her age. Had no trouble adapting to it within about 10 minutes of use, but needed some practice using the break instead of dragging her feet to stop. Speed and handling are perfect for her. We were generally getting 3-4 miles before needing a recharge so it’s perfect to take to local parks for play.The batteries died early this summer. Razor customer service was excellent. I had to pay for the batteries but they reduced or waived ( can’t remember right now) the shipping making it around a 45 dollar purchase. I’m not handy w wires or electricity but changing the batteries was pretty simple once I’d watched an online tutorial. Power and range w the scooter is back where it should be. My daughter still loves using it close to a year after first purchase.Overall my only complaints about it are based on my initial inexperience w scooters and not the fault of razor.1) it is fairly light but still a PITA to carry once it loses power. I’m strong but pushing my own bicycle while trying to console my crying kid w this scooter slung over my shoulder for 1.5 miles when the battery died convinced me to start looking at folding scooters once she outgrows this.2) I wish it had more range. If I had it to fo over, I might have bought her the power core 90 as that’s supposed to have twenty more minutes use per charge ( it is advertised as going 1mph slower and may be a bumpier ride as the tires are different but for our uses another mile or two of range would be worth the trade off).Overall I’d definitely buy this, or something very similar from razor, again.

I purchased this for my son on May 9th for his birthday on May 25th. I just put it together and set it to charge for 12 hours per the instructions and it is not working. when you throttle it does nothing. the light is on for power, but it will not move.. and now my return/exchange expired. I did not know if what only 30 days... I want this for him I spent $200 on this and I don't want this to go to waste. Razor can you do something about this? I'm not looking for a return I want this for my son.

Well made and has some pretty good power

our grandson really likes the scooter and hopefully it will hold up well for him. Battery seems to be holding as advertised and that will be the critical point. He's only had it for about 3 weeks so we'll see how it holds up.

This scooter is better than I expected. I was surprised by the size of the scooter deck when taking it out of the box. There is plenty of room for kids feet on this thing. This was a Christmas present for my 10yr old and one for my 8yr old also. These scooters are pretty awesome, they have been riding these things every day since Christmas. Not even 32 degree weather can stop the boys from going out and riding. I even had to take it for a spin around the block a couple of times and it was fun! I weigh about 160 pounds and this scooter had no problem with me being on it. Of course I won't be riding it because of the weight limit for the scooter, but I had to try it out. All I can say is that the boys are extremely happy with these scooters, and it keeps them out of the house!! The longevity of these scooters and the life span of the batteries remain to be seen, but for now they are getting lots of ride time and seem to have no problem with the paces my boys are putting them through. Just a quick note: My 8yr old is a bit on the small side, and to get the scooter going you have to get it going just as if it was a regular kick scooter. Once you get going, you have to turn the throttle ( just like a motorcycle throttle) to engage the battery power. When this happens, it gives the scooter a little kick of power and takes off. With my son being smaller and lighter, it took him some getting used to. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning. With that being said, he and his brother love this scooter.
