This is a good SSD and readily meets the quoted speeds. I installed the SSD in a PC as a boot drive then installed Windows 11 on it and there were zero issues, as you would expect. Once installed I ran a benchmark on the drive and it clocked just short of the quoted 3600 speed, averaged over multiple tests. So it is exactly what it says it is and works great.My only hesitation is the price point. At this price it is competing with several brand names that you would recognize and that claim similar performance. I haven't tested those others, and this one does live up to the quoted specs, but will you trust your $$ to a brand you don't know vs a more familiar one? That's up to you.A good SSD, but competing in a crowded field.

I installed the brand new hard drive and could not get it to work. Paid a computer repair company $90 to diagnose only to find the new hard drive is defective.

It fits perfectly in a Dell XPS 8920 and was detected and took all of a matter of minutes to install windows 11 on it and get up and running. I didn't need F6 drivers but your mileage may vary.Most desktops made in the past 5 or 6 years are going to have an NVME slot on them even if your machine shipped with an old-school HDD. For the price, it's a no brainer to upgrade to one of these drives. If you've upgraded a HDD to a 2.5" SSD and thought that was an improvement, this is an improvement over that.The drive has a thin piece of aluminum attached to the top of it to act as a heat sink. It's not as much aluminum as I've seen on some other 1tb models but I guess it's nice to have. It also comes with a screw and a screwdriver which was nice to have even if you've already got them.I know it's a 1tb drive but I don't think I'd recommend using this to store anything you really care about unless you're backing it all up religiously. I've never heard of the manufacturer and recovering data from these drives when they fail is notoriously difficult.But, for a huge increase in speed and a new lease on life for a computer that has an NVME slot on board, this is a great solution and the price is right.

I've owned Fanxiang flash storage before and they've proven to be very reliable. My Dell laptop has a 1TB mSATA SSD from them. and I have an external SSD USB drive too.So, I didn't have to research a thing when I their NVME 1TB M.2 SSD was available. I had to test one for myself.The NVME M.2 SSD is PCIe 4.0 compliant. So transfer rates are up to 3.600MB/sec. a far cry from SATA! It's blazingly fast! This model is affordable because it does not have a DRAM cache for sustained writes.But it does have an SLC cache for sustained bursts. I've used such SSDs in my systems and they run satisfactorily for most everyday tasks. But if you need to move a lot of data at once, the higher cost of a DRAM cache may be for you.Physically, the M.2 SSD is a 80mm length model, and it comes with a heatsink attached to the top of the SSD from the manufacturer. It's a thin sheet of aluminum with the company logo embossed. The bottom chips don't have a heatsink.I installed the NVME SSD into an external USB 3.2 10Gb/sec enclosure. And will serve me as portable storage for travel photography backups. The SSD works well, but limited by the interface. I'll need to one day attach it to a USB-C 10Gb/sec interface to do a benchmark test. Meantime, I'm a satisfied Franxiang customer. They earned themselves a loyal user. Nice product.
