3DP03100 Carburetor for Tohatsu MFS NSF 8HP 9.8HP Outboard Engines 3V2-03100-2 3V1-02011-0 3DN-03133-0

Unit bolted right on, Motor started up, one pull. runs like new.

So I messed up an I don't think this will work on my tohatsu... But it does appear to be well machined and the castings look good. From the outside it seems quality like an OEM one would be. I can't speak to it's intended use as I thought it was going to work on my outboard, but that's my fault not theirs.If it matches you old one, I don't think you'll have any issues using this.

I needed this Carburetor for my Tohatsu 9.8 4 stroke outboard. I live in Vermont, there is ice in the water, my boat is in dry dock and the motor is in the garage. I won't be able to put this on the motor and test it until spring, but it is identical to the original Carb except for two minor differences, one that should not affect its function. The other should help! One is this new one has an accelerator pump, but that is easy to disable. The other is it has a mixture adjustment, which is what I needed! The original carb does not have an accessible mixture control because of pollution controls. That is dumb, because it runs too rich, it would pollute less if I could lean it out. This carb should let me do that. I look forward to being able to do that!The quality, build. form and function look perfect and well made. I am impressed, and I expect this will improve the motors performance a lot. I absolutely recommend this carburetor!

A plastic part was broken during manufacturing, there is no debris in the packaging!
