KT TapeUnisex Pro X Synthetic Kinesiology Tape, Black, XL UK

I have been recently using this for a shoulder injury and I have found it to be very effective. After putting it on my shoulder the pain almost went, I don't think I would of been able to go to work without it. I am actually surprised that it was so effective! I cant say how good it is on other areas of the body but if it works the same then that would be great.

Please read, if you haven't already, the PRODUCT DESCRIPTION and FEATURES. The wife has a painful knee. I have a knee problem and upper arm trouble. We both find KT TAPE an excellent way of easing pain and discomfort.REMOVE SLOWLY. Don't pull sharply, it will flay your skin. Otherwise, perfectly fine.

On opening the box you are presented with a lidded plastic box containing 15x ready to use X shaped patches.If you are unfamiliar with the principle behind kinesiology then the basic idea is that by correct application in the correct location the skin is lifted away from the muscle / tissue underneath allowing a greater bloodflow and pain relief from the existing injury.With existing knee pain from a skiing injury and a recent return to running this was an ideal opportunity to try drug free relief. Having read the enclosed leaflet and realising that the URL given was actually wrong ( omission of a hyphen ) I found the YouTube link to be shown how to apply a patch correctly. After shaving the hair away to ensure a smooth surface for the patch to adhere to and washing to remove any oils the simple instructions were followed to apply the patch. Once in place, the patch can hardly be felt - it's thin and very flexible and stuck very well. During the video and on the leaflet you are told how the patch can be removed and that oil can be applied through the top surface to enable easy removal - DO NOT remove like a plaster you are told.Starting out on a 7.7 kilometre run I felt any pain I had disappear almost straight away - could be coincidence, could be the patch. On completion, I got in the shower still wearing it, as you are informed that they can be worn for up to 3 days. This was a bit of a surprise when, on getting out the shower it was unstuck and falling off. Not sure you would be sporty & active and not going in the shower for 3 days !I have to say, the morning after my knee pain was really quite bad .. hard to say why though.I wore a second one later that day & the pain seemed to be reduced slightly, but not as much as it was when actually running.I will continue to use them and edit the review as needed, but I have a feeling I wont be relying on them ..

What an excellent product. My son plays rugby and so you can imagine he gets plenty of knocks, bumps and strains.These pre cut patches are just so much more effective than stretchy bandages.If applied correctly (visit their website) they are very effective and reduce so many aches and pains.Well worth the price.

I am not 100% sold on the efficacy of this - but it is certainly adhesive... and lasts at least as long as claimed.

OK I was a total sceptic over this tape and although all the top athletes use it I just didn't get how it could help (apart from the power of placebo). Anyway I've pulled by lower back lifting a lawnmower and put this on yesterday and have to say it really did help ! Not sure how and don't really care but definitely my back felt much better instantly and today and I virtually pain free. Weird but works !

These come in a nice hard plastic case, which keeps them dry uncreased. They work great and make a noticeable improvement on both my elbow and knee. They last a few days if you keep them dry, but will come off in the shower if you don't. There's a bit of prep needed before application but it only take a minute or so. Obviously these cross-shaped patches are not useful for all situations, so keep that in mind. For £1.50 each they are not cheap but are certainly worthwhile if you're in pain. Recommended.

It's hard to really show if I feel relief from these or not. I will state that the tape stays on very well and the patches are relatively a good size.

These things are virtually impossible to find and I really hope it’s not because they’re being discontinued. I work on the computer all day which tends to trigger pain in a muscle on the tops of my forearms (not tennis elbow but similar area). NSAIDs don’t do the job anymore and my doctor hasn’t had any further suggestions on how to treat this muscle pain.These are such an easy fix. They come in their own little plastic storage box that I keep in my desk. Whenever I start hurting I take a quick break to apply one of these to the area and then I’m good to go until the next time I shower.

Easy to use, easy to remove and most importantly relieves pain and enhances movement
