good information!
I enjoyed reading this book for many reasons! First, it's simple to understand, it has a lot of research studies to back up the information on benefits of different stains of probiotics. It informs us of many different types of probiotic supplements and types of probiotic foods to eat and how to use them.The one thing that I disagree with is the author suggests becoming vegetarians. It was a very small part of the book and it doesn't bother me enough to take away one of the five stars. I eat healthy and lots of organic veggies and high quality meats... Variety is good.It was a quick read and very cheap price for the kindle version!Very enlightening information that I immediately put to use and will not forget!

Lots of good oral hygiene information
Good information to help protect your mouth, gums and teeth and avoid decay.

Just what I needed to know about oral hygiene
I have very aggressive bacteria causing periodontal disease and am loosing a lot of my teeth and was wondering about ways to change the bacteria in my oral cavity other than using antiseptics like chlorhexidine to reduce the total bacterial load. I am sure there are lots of people in my situation. It makes a lot of sense to me to change my oral flora just like changing one's intestinal flora. This book is written by someone that has gone way beyond my simple way of thinking and points out that probiotics in general are a major line of defense against invasive organisms of all kind. All of the bodies opening are sites of friendly and unfriendly bacteria that are competing for these sites to colonize. This book is full of research citations with a huge bibliography, being a trained scientist myself I prefer to verify someone else's opinions with outside literature. This book is a must read for anyone dealing with Periodontal disease. Thanks Case Adams for doing the research for me.

Excellent, Well Written and very Informative
I really liked this book. The information is very detailed, with explanation.A must read for all parents, a giant step to having a healthy family at minimal cost.An easy read.

Scientific and useful
It's a nice change of pace to read a health book that routinely sources studies and refrains from pushing products.This provided a lot of insight into the inner workings of my microbial world and various actions I can take to tip the scale in my favor/probiotic favor.

Informative but need more on proactive strategies to build up oral probiotics
Very useful information but I think a little too heavy on reference studies to show that probiotics matter and not enough detail on what one can do to build up probiotics.

This book is wonderful if you are needing an in-depth look at the world of oral probiotics. The author has a PhD and it shows. He clearly knows a thing or two about probiotics and overall health.

Helpful reading to improve your digestive health.
This was a very informative book. A little tedious at times reading through so many references to numerous trials. Perhaps useful if you’re studying in this field.However after reading this book I have altered my diet slightly, am now taking probiotics and my digestion, sore tongue and dry mouth have very much improved. So we’ll worth buying and reading this book.

Great source of useful information.
I found this book a great source of information not obviously available elsewhere. While I've known a lot about probiotics generally for some time I knew next to nothing about this specific area. Quite a quick & easy read, useful to keep for reference.
