Child loves this- has another music toy, but with the lights and turntable knob it is more tactile and enables him to really feel in control of sounds, which I think is good development in understanding cause and effect for an18month old. It has an off, an then 2 volume levels, which is good, I only wish that the songs/tunes played a little longer- they are short.

Flashing buttons also good. As a parent
My daughter loves this. She was 4 months old when she got it. Loves the music. Can push the buttons herself, although often by accident!! Flashing buttons also good. As a parent, the tunes are not too annoying as they are short and sweet!
