I bought this based on all the positive reviews for an upcoming pioneer activity and am so happy I did. I wasn’t sure what size to get but ended up getting the same size as my T-shirts, an X-large. It fit perfectly! I’m almost 5’3” and 175 lbs if that helps. The dress, apron and hat are nice quality. Very light and airy and feels great on the skin. The elastic on the sleeves is very loose which allows me to move my arms well and is not scratchy at all. I like how they did the straps of the apron so I can cross them in the back to make them more secure or leave them straight. The bonnet fits well and is long enough to shade my face. It’s all very comfortable!

This was purchased for an event honoring pioneering women. It is perfect, and very period-looking.

If Laura Ingalls Wilder were to wear polyester, maybe this would be a bit more believable. However, she didn't and the polyester content definitely comes shining through in look, feel, and drape. The apron, albeit with slightly strange tying system, is probably the best part of the outfit.I am 5'7" and the dress length, sleeves, and waist are all short. The elasticized waist is almost under my bust, giving it an empire waistline. The apron helps hide where the waist falls, but it would be nice if that didn't need to be hidden. And, oh my! Ankles, wrists, and more are definitely showing--how scandalous! Width -wise, there is plenty of room in the dress.Would have preferred if the bonnet were the blue patterned print instead of white to make it seem a bit more of the time period.

I've always wished I could do a more accurate dress-up for some of the festivals out on the prairie, but being a little larger, it's hard to find off-the-rack outfits that fit. That's why I'm so, so happy with this prairie dress set! When I read the measurements that each size was supposed to fit, I was pleasantly surprised to find that mine fell within the XXL's range (not a common occurrence; the "xxl" definition varies dramatically from company to company, depending on where the clothing is made).I am over the moon tickled by how well this dress (and the accessories) fit! This dress truly does fit someone whose measurements are within what is listed! I'm tall (6'), so the sleeves are a little short on me, but the dress itself fits like a DREAM! The apron even fits--it laces up and ties with a bow, no half-done ties or anything! The bonnet is just darling, too. And everything is really well made--I'm so completely surprised by the quality of the fabric, the construction, and the fit. The dress is genuinely flattering, and actually kind of cute, in a "covered from neck to ankles, shoulders to wrists" way!I'm so happy all around with this impulse grab of mine. I can't WAIT to start making the rounds in the springtime! Gotta get my walking boots all shined up, and finish knitting a shawl!

This costume has a great fit and the color is as-shown. The dress comes to the tops of my feet (I'm 5'6"), and the apron falls to a normal spot. The bust area of the apron seems a bit small, but I do have a larger chest (42DD), and it doesn't look too small or accentuate my chest to others. The bonnet fits nicely as well, and the strings are a good length, and the bonnet stays up when not tied in place. Overall, this is fits well, looks accurate, and is comfortable!

The schools in our area do field trips to a local historical center, and my son is scheduled to go this year. I was hoping to volunteer and ordered this dress, as one of the requirements is to dress in period garb.The material is 70% polyester and 30% cotton, and very lightweight. The back is zippered, and there are three components total (dress, apron, hat). The collar area has a cute lacey trim, and the print is crisp and clear. The measurements posted on the product listing seem accurate (I went with a size small for a 5’4”, 130 lbs. individual).I would order this item again.

This is a great costume piece. Fits as expected. Looks great. Well made. Thin material so not super warm if that is important to you. Comes with a hat and apron that are removable. Very durable. Highly recommend.
