Inexpensive piece of mind for your outboard motor
Running an outboard motor in the saltwater can be corrosive over time, and even with regular freshwater flushing, salt and sand can build up in the waterways of the engine, leading to cooling problems, performance drops, and even engine failure. This full liter of wash should be able to handle 20 or so rinses. While not the Salty Captain brand, I use a screw-in flush device that allows water to flow through with or without the flush fluid, and it makes the process very simple. With my motor running and warmed up to allow the thermostats to open, I run the fluid through, so it reaches all parts of the cooling system. It takes about 3-5 minutes for the liquid in the flush fluid cup to run clear, so I can run this through while cleaning the rest of my boat, maximizing efficiency once I'm off the water. This is inexpensive piece of mind for running an engine in saltwater.

Easy to use
This makes me sleep better knowing I did something to prevent corrosion after salt water use. I have a flush kit that I add this to and use it after every haul out from salt water use. I have used many products like it and it seems to be working just as well as others.

Keeps em runnin
If you've ever owned a boat operated in salt water, you know corrosion is guaranteed. Working on corroded parts is awful and awfully expensive. I run the salty captain flush after every outing on my Yamaha F115 outboard in order to delay or hopefully prevent internal corrosion. I have tried salt away, west marine salt off, and this and they all seem pretty similar. Volume-wise I feel like this goes a bit further than salt away. I am not using the musket... Just a regular detergent mixer and it works fine. If you're on the fence about using something like this, just remember a little up front cost can save you a lot of frustration, a lot of money and perhaps a day or more of boating by keeping all your water jacket passages clear and walls corrosion free.

Salty
This marine salt remover work good. Same as other brands I've used in the past. No bad chemical smell. Bottle seals tight so no leaks. Used to flush my Yamaha jet boat. Thanks.

Salt Water Protection
Boating in salt water requires some extra steps to preserve your equipment and this engine flush is one of them. I always perform a flush after each trip out and so far my engine is running great. This brand seems to work just as good as the big brand names and it is cheaper which is a win, win. Very satisfied.

Foamy!!!
I started using this in my 200suzuki outboard and it foams up good. It seems like it’s gotta be cleaning the salt out of every nook and cranny. Compared to the gallon of salt away, the price is a little lower but it seems to be a more thorough clean. Maybe it’s bubbles, maybe it’s legit….. I’ll find out in my next annual service when I pull zinc anodes out for inspection

Great for boats!
This is so awesome to have especially if you live near the ocean. Can be used as a wash to get all the salt off your watercraft, also can be used to flush the engine to keep your motor running better and longer. Pairs perfectly with the salty captains sprayer!

Must Have
If you put your boat in salt water you really should use an engine flush solution to extend the life of your motor. You would be shocked how quickly the water ways get corroded and clogged. So far this does the job. After a few more uses I'll pull the engine thermostat to make sure it's staying clean. Better value than another brand I normally use.
