Clean Machine Flair Doormat, Taupe

I use this on my wood deck at the entrance to the house in the rear. It's in the sun for most of the days and so far has done ok. I noticed the edges curl a little, but not enough to make it a trip hazard yet. The color matches the deck area well. I like the grass style mats because they seem to capture more fine debris and hold less water than regular flat rubber or straw style mats. I gave it four stars due to the edge curling. The size is nice and large and fully fits the door width.

I purchased this one to go outside a patio door and the slightly smaller 18x30 version for a doorway entrance. If I had to do it again, I'd probably get this bigger mat for the doorway as well. I've had these in the past and they are easy to clean by shaking the dirt out or hosing it down. My dog didn't like it at first and kept trying to jump over the mat, but with some positive reinforcement he got used to them. They can also very easily be cut to size if you have a specific area in mind. In the past I've cut them to line a traveling dog crate, place under food dishes, and put under the litter box to trap whatever gets tracked out by the cat. They hold a lot of stuff and keep doing their job! Excellent mats!!

The Clean Machine Flair Doormat does an excellent job of removing sand, dirt and grass from shoes. I live in Florida and like to get out early to do lawn work. Usually the grass is wet with dew and the sandy soil really sticks to wet shoes. These mats remove more of the sand and wet grass than anything I have tried. I use these in conjunction with "Herringbone Coir Boot Scraper Brush" and it has greatly reduced the mess in our laundry/mud room.Every two or three weeks I take them out into the yard and shake them out. It is amazing how much dirt shakes out of the mat. Simply rinse them with a hose and they look like new.Worth every penny.

I don't know how long they will hold up, but I would be willing to replace them every two years considering how effectively they scrape off the mud and snow.Update: I had to ding this down to three stars because the one in my garage is coming apart after a short period of use. I think I might can re-glue the "turf" back to the undermat, but I shouldn't have to do so.

This doormat is exactly as advertised: Efficient, but not very attractive.I ordered two of them: The one on the front porch by the door behaves itself nicely,while the other, which sits exposed, is not quite heavy enough for medium tostrong winds. I would recommend the heaviest grade doormat for winds, andsomething more attractive for protected areas.

I too bought some of these many years ago and they have lasted 14 years. The ends finally curled up so bad that people were tripping over them and it was time to get new ones. As others have said, they are coming apart as though they are perforated, makes me so mad! I am going to have to duck tape them. Why, oh why did they have to mess up perfection!!!!!

Clean Machine Flair DoormatExcellent! I tried the fancy doormats that look fantastic in front of the door. Some of them even provide a warm 'Welcome' message. Unfortunately, that's about all they do. At some point in time, people forgot what doormats are really for!If you want a functional doormat, nothing comes close to an Astroturf-like mat like this one. All those little blades of plastic 'grass' reach up into your shoe treads and remove the flotsam and jetsam hitching a ride to your clean floors. If you want a functional doormat - look no further!

Works great, holds up well although I'm only a few weeks in, and is a great neutral color. As it is plastic I wouldn't put it on my front porch but it works great as a rug in front of my back garage door to catch the dirt from the drive way, shop, barn and field!
