SLA Worked, Warranty Support ??? [Updated]
The first print work great and did very well. You need to go to the SparkMaker website to get manual for setting up and working. Do note that it only prints from SD Card, not PC connection or USB. (I was not happy at first, but then I like it as it keeps my PC free for other 3D printer or Sketches.)[BLUE your are the man.] I have been contacted and Sparkmaker, replaced the tank and helped me back up and running. It was difficult to get support attention, but once we connected by email, they help 100%. Thank you.Now to the disappointment. The tank leaked after my first print and has gotten under the 3M tape and underneath. I have written SparkMaker and have not received any feedback on the 2 month warranty on the tank, or the potential damage of printer. I have only received the acknowledgement that it will be 24 hours to responded. That has been two request later and over 10 days ago. I have a feeling that there is no support from the company.Keep this in mind:It a low cost SLA printer, it work as intended but if there is any issues there is no support or forum group.At this time, I can only give two stars, BUT NOW I GIVE 4!!! still some quirks to use the SD Card and Software, but it has printed sculture and good to go. Just read their short manual and take the time to research SLA printing.

It works well,but you need to be willing to learn how SLA printing works
Bottom line is this thing works exactly as intended and creates physical objects of acceptable quality. The thing is you need to be willing to read up on how to use it. The printer acts mostly as a plug and play unit. It only took me two prints to figure out how to properly calibrate and work it the key is to use the proper resin, I’ve expanded on this below). I’ve included some pictures of a sample print.The unit is quiet but the internal fan does make some noise. Being the tinkerer that I am, I will be looking for a replacement to make it nearly silent. There’s an amazing facebook group with tips and even cheap modifications to make the printer better if you like to tinker but these modifications are not required and I based my review off the stock unit I received. The last thing is the power supply could have used a soft start circuit on the supply side (barrel end). It likes to spark (online there jokes about it being a “sparkmaker”) when inserted after the supply is powered. To avoid this simply plug the power supply into the printer first, then plug the wall socket in last.Important resin advice! Only use resin designated for use with low power UV printers. They take less energy to cure so you need to be careful with storing the resin away from windows, sunlight, and other lamps that put off UV light. Obviously the Sparkmaker resin works but I also found the Monoprice resins to work well. I prefer Monoprice becuase the smaller bottle size (250ml) means I have less open resin to worry about and you can buy it direct from their site for pretty cheap ($16 per 250ml). I made the mistake of buying maker juice resin for the form1 printer thinking I’d use a “higher quality” resin specification. The issue is those resins are designed for a higher power UV laser and don’t cure in the printer which made my first two prints very frustrating. Once I switched to Monoprice, the printer worked flawlessly.Final notes, the creators are pretty active in the facebook group and with continued improvement of these units. They keep adding features to make the printer better and actively take feedback and post backwards compatible updates which is refreshing.

Affordable is not an accurate description.
I tried several prints through this, and it just doesn't work. Their "demo" prints that you can download on their website work okay, but as soon as I tried to print anything else, it failed constantly. I even tried to download the original file from Thingiverse that they used for one of their demos (the "Egypt Knight") and it failed! I don't know what exact settings they used on their demos, but nothing I tried worked. I went through an entire bottle of resin trying to get it to work and never could. It would get about 2-3 mm on the build plate, then a layer would stick on the resin tray. Every time!This is not an "affordable" printer, this is a "cheap" printer. Issues that I noticed in the 4 days I had it before returning it:The LCD screen is held on by 3M tape, so no telling what sort of issues that presents.The height screw isn't straight, it was bent in at least 2 places that I could tell just on a visual inspection.Almost all of the screws were loose to the point of almost falling out when it arrived and if you tighten them too much it binds up the whole machine.The resin tank leaks like a sieve.The power supply sparks very brightly when plugged in (fire hazard around the 91% IP in the immediate area!)The money saved is not worth the effort required to figure this thing out. I am going to just shell out the extra money and get a better quality machine.

Software is meh, but the hardware is ok
Its just "ok" I would give it 4 stars if the software was better. It kept crashing on one of my STL files on auto supports. The LCD res, I feel, is a bit low considering the proliferation of 1080p LCD screens. All that being said, the few prints I have done with LCD-N were great. Making small parts works fine on this printer and its fairly fast a 0.1. The 0.05 yoda came out fine, but honestly no reason to print at that with such a low res screen.If you just are starting out on SLA and want a kind of a feel for it, this is a great starter for the price.

説明書、保証書など一切無し。
先日購入したのですが、説明書も保証書も入っていません。SDカードも入ってません。どうやって使うのか、データ形式などの説明も一切なく、使い方がわかりません。本体のみしか入っていないのです。皆さんどうやってレビューしてるんですか?本体も、ビニールで包まってるとかの新品感はなく、大きなクズが入っていたり、傷も。写真一枚目は、開けてすぐの状態です。明らかに何かが入っていた所に、空間だけ空いています。商品も袋に入っていたりしない。2枚目は、商品の傷写真。3枚目は、ケーブルについた汚れの写真。これが新品として届くってあり得ない!追記です。知人から、「それは中古品が届いたのではないか？」という指摘を受け、もう一台買ってみました。今日届いたのは、ちゃんと新品！でした。箱もsparkmakerと書いてある箱。ケーブルや台も、マステで固定されていました。中身も傷などない、梱包がちゃんとしたもの。前回は沖縄から、個人名で、ボロボロのお酒の箱で届いていたのですが、今回はsparkmakerから、無地の箱で届いていました。無地の箱を開けると、sparkmakerの箱が出てきます。箱の印刷苦手か！と言うくらい荒い印刷の箱ですが、まあいいでしょう。印刷してみても違いがはっきり分かるほど、前よりもずっといいので、これならばと、もう一台買う予定です。ただ、また沖縄やらどこかの知らない土地から個人名で届きそうで怖いです…一つ星でしたが、２台目で大丈夫だったので星２つに増やしました。皆さん、梱包が怪しい時は風を開けずに即日返品ですよ！3台目購入しましたよ。結果は、駄目ーーーー！！！箱は、sparkmakerのものでしたが、中身が一度開けられたものを梱包して送ったのが丸わかりな状態。いいですか、新品の場合、ビルドステージが仮止め固定され、ケーブルも箱に入っており、箱とステージが仮止め固定され、さらに透明な袋に入っているんです。入っていたのは…タバコの吸い殻！！！乱雑に入った電源！ビリビリに破れた箱！！指紋だらけの本体！これが新品って言えるかよ！速攻で返金処理しました。もう本家で買お！球が多いロシアンルーレットかよ！
