3 NGT VX1 Bite Alarms & Batteries

I brought these for a weekend of fishing for some friends who havnt done night fishing before.For saying how cheap they are I was surprised at the quality!They work really well the only thing I found they needed against my other branded ones is you definitely benefit from a bite indicator of which I have plenty of.If your looking for a cheaper option with good results I would recommend these.

I bought these on price alone as I miss placed or lent out my others. These are excellent value for money, come with a battery and a little zip case. Importantly they work and survived a horrendously wet 24 hour session. Well impressed

Bought Alarms , Rods and reels from same company NGT . All arrived on time well packaged and all In Working order on arrival . Not tried them out on the bank . Look good and what I expected for the price . They are very cheaply priced so you get what what you pay for . Looks and feels entry level equipment which is fine for me . Get batteries and cases with the alarms which is v good for the price , rods come in rod bags reels are loaded with line ( not sure what Lb ) also get a free spool with each reel which is also good. . I bought 3 rods and reel set along with alarms and went for a more expensive pod (£59.00 ) from NGT which really is good . Adjustable and stable . All for a total cost of £150.00 very good value . Of course , I ain’t used it yet but I’m not expecting it to fall apart as all the kit look basic but strong

Firstly I want to say I review all items I buy and give an open and upfront review.OK firstly I was very hesitant to buy these as they come as a pack of 3 for under £20.But I was shocked to find the build quality is quite decent for basic alarms.Good bits1) They come with batteries.2) They come with pouches.3) Easy to turn on.4) They are pretty loud would wake you up.Bad bits1) The only thing I would say is they are on the small side.2) Battery cover doesn't feel it would stay in position.3) I feel if you were out in the rain the battery cover wouldn't stop the water.4) While the alarm is very responsive it does have the tendency to keep pinging after the line has come to a complete still.(10 seconds after line is still making you feel the fish is still pulling line when in fact its stopped)My overall review for this and an honest review out of 10.For a budget alarm for a novice angler is this would be an ideal alarm to get started with and let's face it you won't get 3 alarms for under £20So my overall score for this is7/10.

Good for your first set.Comes with cases for them as well which was a bonus

Really nice fishing alarms a great price and work really well. Bought them for my Grandson who has just started fishing well pleased as a great basic alarm for a beginner

Value for the money and easy to use

Really great deal for the money, 3 alarms for under £20. Need to test them properly but they all seem good. Was well packaged, arrived earlier than expected aswell. Alarms even come with a small case for each alarm.
