this is the best grip for the a6000/a6100/a63000/a64000 cameras as well, other grips touch and will wear away the AF/MF lettering on the body.I really dont understand the negative reviews, this part is supposed to be a grip for you to hold your expensive camera with, why would you want it LOOSE?

Good product, but as its one solid piece, it still feels a bit intrusive. Well built though

Did I need it? No. Do I love it. Hell yes.

I should have listened to the other reviews, but there were a few things that I didn’t like about the small rig version for the a7c. The small rig has obvious branding on the front which I don’t like as well as a cold shoe socket which is not useful and adds to the sleek profile of the a7c.I wanted this one to work because it was lacking those things. However, like the other reviews mentioned the menu button and rear dial are very obstructed with this one. Can you still get to them? Yes. But they are obstructed in an unacceptable way, especially compared to the small rig. In fact, the whole thumb bar sits further out from the camera with this one, and not in a good way. It looks like it was designed for another camera and was “good enough, ship it!” for the a7c. Finally, the silver color is way off. It doesn’t match. I saw another review mentioning that it matches one of the dials. I don’t see that. It looks wrong.This one is a strikeout for me.

It is small and simple but how much different it is to make your handling of the cam that counts.. Especially if you are using big heavy lenses...Cool product to have.. A must have

Not sure why the negative reviews. This thumb grip is very nice on my A7Cii. fits great, feels great, and provides a nice look. The complaint about it being too tight in the shoe aren’t evident with mine. It’s easily removed. The complaint about it interfering with the menu buttons doesn’t seem to be an issue for me either. While it does slightly sit above the Menu and C1 button, if you have average size fingers you should not have a problem accessing and pressing them. I can see if someone has large fingers, this could possibly be an issue. The color doesn’t exactly match the overall silver color of the camera, it more closely matches the exposure compensation, selector dial, and shutter button instead. So technically it matches the overall look. I’m happy I ordered. I also ordered the black JJC thumb grip just in case, but will return it.

The perfect accessory to a7c ii. Fits very snug and secure.
