Just as expected by Samsung
I worried I wouldnot like a curved monitor and am pleased. Quality and resolution good. Not hard to set up and size helps me see more when playing games or working on photography. Solid investment for a monitor.

Eye Comfort and Stunning Performance.
I’m impressed with this monitor! The Eye Saver Mode is a fantastic feature—it reduces eye strain during long gaming or work sessions, which is a big deal for me. I also feel like the 1000R curved screen makes a difference. It helps my eyes naturally focus on the screen, making it more comfortable to look at for extended periods than flat screens. The 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time deliver a smooth, lag-free experience. With HDR10, the colors look amazing. It’s perfect for gaming and also great for general use. This monitor has been a great addition to my setup, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, eye-friendly display!

Great Monitor, Atrocious Stand
I've enjoyed Samsung Curve monitors for years now, I wanted to get a new 144hz + 27" for gaming and the G5 was a great deal for black friday. It's got a great image and really handy options. There are some figety things like the LED light on the bottom when it's on idle, or a popup if your resolution scale is not perfect however, those are fairly insignificant. The one thing I really didn't like however, is the stand is massively oversized for a monitor like this. I have a 32" samsung curve and the base is easily 1/2 the size, both on the X and Y axis. This Stand is as wide as the monitor, it sticks back about 6" from the back of the monitor and forward about 4" from the front of the curve. I've never seen anything like it. Get yourself a monitor arm.

Love it
Samsung never disappoints me with pixeling and color. I use it for gaming. My husband has same size curved screen with another brand almost same price but samsung really rocks!! Only negative is it doesn’t have speakers

Good monitor
Really nice, easy set up, response is nice, just make sure you have more than enough room. Of course it’s a decent sized monitor but took up more space than I realized, though still isn’t bad at all.

Decent for the price but lacks a lot of common features
For the price (when on sale at $274) this monitor is very tough to beat! 1440p with a high refresh rate and a 1000r curve. The color accuracy is pretty good especially at the price point. Doesn't compare to a higher end IPS displays but beats out TN panels. The menu is pretty user friendly and has a good number of features and settings. My main reason for knocking off 2 stars is as follows... Lack of HDMI ports. This monitor comes with 1 HDMI and 1 Display port. Most monitors nowadays have 4 ports usually 2 of each. Limits what I can keep connected to the display. Also, max brightness is only 300 to 350 nits. The description states its HDR and while the Xbox Series X DOES recognize this, its not bright enough for TRUE HDR content. Would need to be at least 400 nits to 600 nits to truly appreciate HDR and see a noticeable difference. The lacking in peak brightness makes it very tough to see a huge "dynamic" range. My last con is the stand. It has no adjustment at all. I ended up putting on a riser to raise it but there is absolutely no rotation, pivot or height adjustment to the stand. I think these features are pretty much standard on 90% of the monitors out there at the same price point. All in all, I am happy with the purchase and decided to keep it but only use for console gaming. as my go to monitor is the Nanocell Fast IPS from LG for my PC needs.
