I thought it would make my curly hair straight the way my other hair straightener gadget does. However, small and compact as it is, it helped relaxed my curly hair. It has 3 heat settings and even if I use on the highest setting, my hair did not get very straight. It probably depends on the individual's hair type.It came with a dust bag for carrying with you on your travels and it is rechargeable too.The handle does get hot so you need to wear gloves to protect your hand. And I noticed that I had to recharge it twice while using it as the charge goes fast and my hair length is only past my shoulders. One charge will work for shorter hairs but if your hair is longer then you may have yo recharge while still completing your straightening session.
