I never write reviews but I love this bottle so much I'm going to contribute
I never write reviews but I love this bottle so much I'm going to contribute. It is even more convenient than I expected to be able to fold the bottle. It is light, easy to carry, just the right size. I can stick it in my pocket or bag. I can squeeze the bottle to make sure it's closed correctly and isn't going to leak. I have put it in my bag with my laptop because I trust it. The drinking spout is very convenient and easy to clean with a pipe cleaner. Dishwasher safe. I can actually get my fingers inside to scrub(if you remove the rigid rings at the top it's easier) and the flexibility of the material actually makes it possible to get the sponge all the way to the bottom and scrub (without the assistance of a utensil!). I bought 3 more.Other reviews on here seem to complain about the following issues:*Taste. It is true that at first, the water has an off-flavor that isn't great, but if you fill it up, let it sit, pour it out, and repeat a few times, the strange flavor goes away.*Ease of drinking. You might spill on yourself at first if you are clumsy, but it's easy to get used to.*Leakage. I'm guessing they aren't closing it properly / aren't checking whether it is closed properly by squeezing the bottle. Also if you put a tea bag in there with the string sticking out, the bottle will leak. However you can always tell whether the bottle is sealed by squeezing and listening / feeling for airI love using this bottle for tea and the keeping it in my lap/hands for warmth!*****update: after 6 months of continual use, the lid developed a leak :(. Specifically, the spot where the straw connects to the bottle began leaking, even though I was very careful to make sure it was properly closed. Adjusting my review to 4 stars.

Just one minor annoyance...
This would be an awesome bottle except for one thing... the spout is too long. Because of this, if it's hooked on the outside of your bag, it will bump into everything (eww...especially in a crowded subway). If it's on the inside of your bag, it can easily catch on something. Once the spout is open even a little, it can leak. If they just made the spout maybe 1/8 inch shorter, it would be awesome (are you listening Blue Mountain??!?). The spout just needs to sit INSIDE the perimeter of the top.Besides that, it's a great product. Water does shoot out when you squeeze it when full, so be ready! Also the spout needs to be fully open for you to get a good drink. The bottle is easy to clean and folds up as shown in the picture. No signs of wear and tear after 6 weeks of hard use. Really nice for travel when you have to ditch all your water at security.

great design for hiking or general use but not good for use on airplanes.
Pros:1)Clever design - rolls up and all parts can be removed very easily.2 ) more easily cleaned than most water bottles due to wide neck.Cons:1) very flexible. - you need 2 hands to drink from it. I suppose you can't have a rollup design without this effect so not a big deal.2) on my first two attempts at using this on an airplane - it leaked. The air pressure at flight altitude is low so the air in the bottle was trying to get past the seal. You can't get enough torque on the seal for this purpose. In both cases the bottle was partially filled with water.

Stainless steel bottle will taste like metal. Anyway
I have try many kind of water bottles - glass, stainless stell and many kind of BPA free plastic water bottles before I find this silicone water bottle. I have glass bottles but I worry it will break if I bring it around in the bag or my son backpack. It's even not allowed in his class to have utensil made of glass. Stainless steel bottle will taste like metal. Anyway, this silicone water bottle arrived yesterday. It's folded -small size, so I can bring it empty anywhere it doesn't take much space. I fill it to the last minutes I can have water and will drink it later - It won't break easily, no taste, safer than plastic. It's not leak, and has a small carabiner that is strong and really light. We can hang this water bottle anywhere, really can stand rug treatment. Hah... I can definitely bring it for hiking, this is the perfect water bottle for outdoors activity.

Just ok
This bottle is handy for travel, as it can fold down pretty small, but is a little awkward to handle because of the soft sides. Doesn't really have any insulation to keep liquids hot or cold. Just handy to have liquid if you need it.

Good but floppy.
I like the idea of a collapsible water bottle since I use it for excursions on cruises I go on. The only negative is that it becomes harder to handle as it empties due to its floppiness.

Too flexible
Bulky, difficult to drink out of because as you hold it you squeeze the bottle and water comes pouring out. I have seen others that were more compact and would purchase that ahead of this bottle.
