Q: Does this product make the tiles slippery?

I put this on terracotta tiles and it just added a sheen - it certainly didn’t make them slippy

Q: How often does this need to be reapplied?

That is a good question and it really deepends on the level of traffic. On the whole; if the wax is washed routinely with a suitable PH Neutral cleaner such as LTP Waxwash then a top up application should be applied every 3 - 4 years. Alternatively and in order to maintain a high quality waxed finish you could apply LTP Ironwax Gloss as a wax protector. This can go over the wax and if washed routinely with LTP Floorshine you would not need to re-wax your surface again for at least 15 years. Hope this is helpful.

Q: what is the coverage of 2.5 litres

Depends very much on how well sealed the tiles are before you apply the wax. I have just refinished 20 m2 of terracotta tiles and used about 1 litre - for a single coat. For a first coat if the tiles are porous expect to use about 1.5 litres.
