Great price. Works like a charm.
I was tired of lugging water jugs from the supermarket to the house and paying a $1.00 a gallon so I decided to try one of these. I chose the Waterdrop over others for the following reasons:1. Uses activated carbon made from coconuts. This type is more porous so it has more surface area to remove contaminants and allows for better water flow. Primarily for chlorine.2. Filters last for 3 months or approximately 320 gallons.3. Micron filter for biologics, sand, iron, sulfur, etc.4. PriceTook about 15 minutes to install. Tips: Make sure you choose the right adaptor and washer. The washer should be tight against the sides of the adaptor and seat it fully in the bottom of the adaptor. Use the provided Teflon tape. 3 wraps counter clockwise should suffice. Threads are fine and can be stripped if cross threaded. This will cause a leak and is not correctable. Hand tighten the adaptor. Use the provided tool to for an extra 1/8 to 1/4 turn. The rest is simple.Taste: Drank a glass of water unfiltered, filtered, and store bought. Filtered tasted great. No chlorine smell and fresh tasting. Actually better than store bought.TDS is a poor measure for drinking water. Good tasting water needs to be free of chlorine, iron, sulfur, lead, and biologics ( bacteria). If water doesn't have some salts, minerals, etc. in it the taste is bad. For example, distilled water has a TDS of 0. Not only does distilled water taste flat, it is also not recommended for normal consumption.

Very pleased
I got this as a potential replacement for the Brita faucet filters I have been using, and replacing every 6-9 months (the base/mount) for years. I didn't even get 6 months out of my last one and that was it - I've had it. So I thought I'll try this one.I couldn't be more pleased. Everything about it is better. The water flow is much faster. It's so much easier to operate and switch from purified to regular. And best of all the entire thing comes apart so when the internal washer wears out as they do you can replace it! The purification seems just as good although I haven't tested it for contaminants. The taste is the same. I guess time will tell as for durability but I do believe it will pass that test as well.

Excellent filter with one major design flaw
This is one of the best faucet filters i've found out there in the world, the filters last a very long time compared to something like the bigger brands, and it's so easy to install. It comes in two parts, you've got the chamber that holds the filter and the faucet attachment. You find the adapter that fits your faucet, and then the unit clamps over it. Then you place the filter into the attachment, and with a quarter turn it's on.The major flaw in this device is where the two parts meet. I'm having to purchase a third faucet unit because where the two parts meet is prone to a lot of wear and tear. It's just two interlocking pieces of plastic and because the filter assembly fills with water it gets heavy. This causes the interface to slowly break over time until it springs a full-on leak and the process takes a few months to happen, but it is incredibly frustrating to have to order a part. Part of the reason for this is that the interface on the faucet unit isn't a single piece of plastic, it's on a seam so there is uneven pressure across the whole socket.I can only hope that they do a revision where the interface is either a single molded bit of plastic or better yet a threaded chamber that can allow for the filter assembly to screw on rather than lock into place with a quarter turn. This would better distribute the load and keep the thing from breaking. And to be fair, I am in a house with three kids and I would not be surprised if the way they move the faucet around contributes to the wear and tear.Aside from that, it's a fantastic filter unit and really gets the job done. It even helps increase the water pressure in my somewhat faulty sink!

Works great. Just pay attention to the product.
This product works great. It was very straight forward instructions and there's even a video that shows step by step. I don't use this to drink my water. It is purely for my skin to feel better and it really makes a difference. I live in a very old apartment building so this was needed.I would pay close attention to how you put it on, I know some people here say it didn't work for them but just remember putting in your filter correctly and changing it when needed and also to put it on the filter mode.
