High resolution, fast refresh, exceeds expectations!
Works perfectly with my 2022 Motorola Moto G Power. USB-C connector is long enough to accommodate phone's case and reversible so sensor can face forward or backward. 256 x192 resolution is sufficient to reveal fine detail and 25 Hz refresh rate avoids annoying lag. Temperature point tracking is fast and accurate, displaying scene center, scene max, scene min, and three option modes: 1) temperatures at one or more points clicked on screen, 2) min and max along one or more lines drawn on screen, 3) min and max within rectangles dragged on screen. Color scale cannot be fixed to facilitate comparison of scenes, but perhaps this will be included in future version of app. Thermal image cannot overlay camera image, but camera image optionally can be displayed in small box at upper left over thermal image for reference. Included case offers padding for protection, inside pocket for storage, and outside loop for attaching. Very impressed!

Works great!
This thing is awesome! I CAN SEE FOOTPRINTS! I haven't had any trouble with it. If you have a case on your phone you'll need an extender thing unless you wanna take your phone out the case every time. They're a couple bucks.

Very good value for the money
Overall excellent unit - maybe the best specs for the money that I've seen so far. While it can't compete with a cooled unit, it's amazing for something you can plug into your phone. The only downside I've noticed so far, is that it continuously adjusts its dynamic range to the scene. That's a plus if you want to keep good use of your color map. It's a big minus if you are trying to compare before and after of a particular region while you make a change to the system you are observing. Minor changes to the camera's position can cause a shift in the color map.(Of course you can aim a cursor at the region of interest to get an exact temperature reading)If an option to switch between fixed dynamic range and automatic dynamic range was available in the app, this would be a 5-star device.

TLDR: Buy the Hti HT-203U over the FLIR, TOPDON, KLEIN, SEEK, InfiRay.
vs FLIR ONE Gen 3...Cons vs HT-203U9 fps sensor.Slightly more expensive at 199 USDPrice to hardware rating is abysmal.80x60 resolution. (4,800 pixels)ProsFLIR has better software hands down and is the only thing keeping the FLIR ONE Gen 3 afloat in my eyes.**Hear me out. The FLIR ONE Gen 3 uses software to boost what you "see" the software is doing all the heavy lifting. Its upscaling the 80x60 image and overlaying it from a altered photo of your phones camera, its also scaling to the refresh rate of your phones camera and in doing so its hard to tell it sucks much like a politician.vs TOPDON TC001Cons vs HT-203UPrice 249.Price to hardware rating is almost as good as it gets.Pros over the HT-203UApp is slightly better?... while the TOPDON's app allows you to superimpose the images from your phone camera over the TC001's thermal image for some reason cant save them that way?? is this a glitch?vs KLIEN TI222Price 249.Price to hardware rating is beyond abysmal.9 fps10,800 pixels (90x120 resolution)They don't say the resolution just the pixel count because people that buy it are easily tricked.the app is not good, basic and sometimes works. No pros... keep away.KLIEN saw what others were doing and said let us get in on a cash grab.vs SEEK CW-AAACons vs HT-203UPrice 229Price to hardware rating is way less then fair.206x156 resolution. (32,136 pixels)9 Fpsin app 16:9 needs to be changed to 4:3 for buttons to work...No Pros over the HT-203U.Infiray P2 ProCons vs HT-203UPriced at 299Price to hardware rating is a less then fair.USB C has an known issue with breaking.Needs location data to work and app doesn't save the settings sometimes.Pros over the HT-203USuper small... easy to lose...(double edged sward)Great company listens to feedback.App is simple to use.Now for the Hti HT-203U.ProsPriced at 196 (got mine on a flash sale for 156)Price to hardware rating is as good as it gets. (nothing is cheaper with better specs)256X192 (49,152 pixels)accurate tempsEasy to useConsApp leaves you wanting features like synced image overlay, (not talking about PiP it has that) user defined custom color palettes, however it gets the job done. The unit its self is doing all the heavy lifting.Final thoughtsAt the end of the day, I am glad I went with the Hti HT-203U, as it was the best bang for buck and hardware specs out of the above. One thing to note is if you have your phones USB settings set to anything but "USB Tethering" no apps can connect to a thermal device. (ie. PTP, MIDI, File Transfer, Charge only. exc)

Doesn't fit with OtterBox without extension cable
I just got it for fun, just to play with but it works pretty good, temperatures are good, but it doesn't fit into your phone if you have a case on it, well a OtterBox anyway I have a pixel 6 pro and 9 pro I've used it on and I had to take off the otterbox to use it, I'm going to get one of those short extender cables, I thought it came with one but I guess that was another one I was looking at, so keep that in mind when buying maybe buy one with it

Works great and easy to use
I got this to use during reiki sessions, which is a bit off label, but it works well at showing energy changes in my hands while I'm working. I like that you have different color options and it will also display the temperatures also.

Works like a charm (EDIT) mostly
The media could not be loaded. This is day one.Out of the box, no issues. the software loaded up no issues as well.Giving it 4 stars for now. That will go up or down depending on how then work out.9/8/2024I suspect mine is defective. The display, as depicted in the video, shows [+] OVER and the temp reading is way out of range. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong but if I don't find an answer from support this is going back.9/9/2024I have received a replacement in less than 1 day. That is impressive. I have changed the rating back to 4 stars.Note: I found it necessary to "play around" with the settingsThe manufacturer could receive a 5 star rating if they provided a detailed manual on how to properly configure the device. For instance: there are settings for Emissivity, optical temperature, reflection temperature, distance etc. There are no explanations of what these are or what they do.
