I'm so happy that I purchased this book for my niece and nephew. The pictures are illustrated beautifully and the message of self love is wonderful!

Fantastic story and extraordinary artwork! A true classic for any child's library!

We met the author at our local library time. The kids and adults were captivated by the story. The illustrations are beautiful and I'm sure this family team will bring out more lovely books together. In this day and age we need to start our children off early with an appreciation of self acceptance. This simple, yet lovely, story conveys this message in a way that young children can understand...and hopefully practice. The illustrations are just beautiful! This will be my new gift for baby showers, future grandchildren and the children of my children's friends for their own little ones. I'll admit, I may be a little partial to the story because it took me much too long to accept my own "curly, curly hair". Love this sweet book!

Absolutely LOVE this book!!! It's message of self acceptance is so important for kids to learn at an early age, and quite frankly one that many adults could benefit from as well!! The illustrations are amazing and captivating for children to view. As a recent grandfather, this will be a reading staple with my granddaughter, as well as a must gift for family and friends with little ones. Hope it comes out in hardback soon!!!

This was SUCH a cute book. My little niece loves the illustrations and can't put it down, and the story is such a great message! I wish it came in hardback because I have a feeling it's going to get a lot of wear... :)Definitely recommend as a gift, or for your own little ones!!

Bought this for a few of the kids in the family. The illustrations in the book really captivated the kids. It also has a great moral story about treating those different from you with kindness, and to not be self-conscious about your insecurities.Highly recommend!

This is a great book for young children with a positive message about liking yourself the way you are and fabulous illustrations. It totally reminds me of Where the Wild Things Are in its simple message and beauty.
