Great Phone, Glad I Bought It!
This is a great phone. I've had it about a month now and have only two issues. The screen is large and it's hard to reach the top with only one hand, although I am getting starting to get used to it. The other is that the metal back is very slippery, it's something I have to be careful about. The second screen at the top is one of its best features. Very convenient to have it there and once it's set up I've found I use it quite often. It's nice that it can be used from your lock screen. I use it to access the flashlight and writing a memo without having to unlock my phone and find the apps. It's also used for notifications, if you have an app open and a call comes in, the option to accept or reject the call is on that screen and doesn't interrupt you using the app. The camera and video are great. Having the option to use the standard hi-res lens or the lower-res wide angle lens makes taking pics a little easier. I can sit on my couch and get a pic of the whole room with the wide angle while the standard lens only gets the far wall, a great option to have. The quality of the pics and video are better than any camera I've had and that is what matters to me. I haven't noticed any problems with battery life with this phone. It really depends on what I am doing with it. If it's charged in the morning it last all day no problem, as long as I don't play games on it all the time. If the battery does get low during the day, I put it on the charger and in about 15 min. it gets enough charge to last the rest of the day. It charges really fast. This review touches on some of the features on this phone that I thought make this phone worth buying. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Great for the short time that it worked
Loaded with outstanding hardware...very attractive phone. A few months later, it became more or less a black brick that can make phone calls, provided you memorize the position of icons on the screen. The reason? the screen suddenly would refuse to wake, and would stay like this for days at a time, suddenly work for maybe 30 seconds, freeze up, and go back to black. The seller (THEREDCELL) claimed that they "back their products 100%". This is apparently an outright lie. They responded to my original message within a day, and told me to take it to a repair shop. I brought it to Verizon, who took a look at it and informed me that it's a fairly common issue, that my phone was a lemon, and to get an exchange. I informed THEREDCELL of this, and over a week later, have not received a response. I would advise against buying LG phones, and if you do, make for SURE you buy from someone you can trust and get whatever extended warranty is offered, I would STRONGLY caution against buy anything from THEREDCELL, shady people with a shady business.

... for a bit over a month and while I love the hardware
I've had this phone for a bit over a month and while I love the hardware, there have been issues. The good:This phone has an excellent screen, is super-fast and has huge internal storage. I've added an SD card and expect to never have storage issues with it. The CPU is snappy and the phone has enough RAM to run everything well. The user replaceable battery is a great feature since I like to replace batteries every year or two to keep the phone working right. It's becoming more obvious how important replacing batteries is to keeping your phone working right and it's easy and cheap with this one. So far this battery seems to be lasting exceptionally well, and the Quickcharge 3 chargers get it close to full charge very fast. The phone has a metal back cover with a button to press to release it to gain access. It's a nice sturdy design which I like. The camera is far better than our previous phone. The pictures are excellent. I love the ability to set it to manual focus, it makes taking close up photos so easy. The fingerprint unlock is great. I've set it up to recognize two people's fingerprints so we can both unlock it easily. So far it's been quite handy. The USB C port is so nice. I hate having a mix of different connector types, but the reversible connector is amazing. The bad:This was definitely a used phone, and came with a generic charger that was not Quickcharge3 so it wouldn't charge the phone at full speed. I expected this, and simply ordered a compatible OEM charger which works great. The ugly:Within a day of activating the service on the phone it tried to update itself and the update failed. The phone ended up in a boot loop, completely unusable. A bit of googling and I found the "Verizon Upgrade Assistant" software which was capable of fixing this issue. I installed the software on my PC, hooked the phone up to the computer, and held down some buttons while booting the phone and it was able to update the phone and get it back working. This was a relief, but it didn't install the latest update and soon the phone tried to update itself again and this update also failed. The phone was still usable, it just rebooted into the old version, which is disappointing since it now constantly asks to update itself and fails if you allow it to try. I'm sure I'll eventually get this worked out but so far I have been unable.Despite the trouble, I still really like this phone. The one we have now is my wife's and I'm planning to upgrade mine to one as well.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!
I was a dedicated user of the Galaxy Note 4 and my screen broke so I ordered another one and since you cant buy them new I had to order "like new. When I received the Note 4 it had Amoled burn in. 3 attempts later, after receiving phones with the same issue I decided on the LG V20 and I'm glad I did. This is the fastest phone I have ever owned. It has 64gb of memory with 4gb of ram. I have had zero issues out of the V20 and I am more impressed each time I use it. I purchased an extended battery to go with it and my phone last 18 hours of heavy use. Its just one of the perks of having a removable battery. Normally I didn't stray from Samsung or HTC and sorta looked at LG as a cut rate brand. I was so so wrong. I am going to purchase another one as a back up because I don't foresee phones getting much better than this anytime soon, and sooner or later the removable battery will become obsolete. BEST PHONE EVER!
