E14 LED Light Bulbs, LAMPAOUS Reflector Spotlight Bulbs R50 5W 500LM (50W Filament Bulbs Equivalent), 4000K Natural White LED E14 SES Small Edison Screw Lamp, Non-Dimmable, Energy Saving, 8 Pack [Energy Class A++]

I bought a pack of these bulbs to replace some low energy spotlight bulbs that I had fitted a few years ago. The problem with the old bulbs were that they were larger than the equivalent filament spots and looked odd. They also took a while to warm up and were not very bright but they were cheap to run and lasted longer than traditional spotlight bulbs.These LED replacements are brilliant. They come on instantly and are very bright and if they last as long as other LED bulbs I have fitted then I will be very pleased. The bulbs are the same size as the original filament spots that came with the spot lamps but use only 5 watts each (3 x 5 watt bulbs in each lamp) as against 50 watts each for filament spot light bulbs. The fluted design compliments my white spot light fittings brilliantly.They arrived promptly and were well packed. I have used 6 bulbs (2 light fittings) so I have 2 spare (just in case) which I am hoping I won't need for a while yet.I would certainly recommend these as a cheaper to buy and cheaper to run alternative to existing filament bulbs. They probably run at similar costs to low energy type bulbs but typically brighter, quicker to come on and they look better.

The produce a real nice clean bright white light.We have them in our utility and they are perfect for this, they would also work well in a kitchen.They are not the cheapest of bulbs but they should pay for themselves over time assuming they last as long as they should.None have gone yet so nothing to complain about.Weirdly enough I even think they look good with the wavy heat-sink style fins.Will be buying some more for our garage once I get the fixings in.==================================================================I like to try and review all of the products I buy on Amazon in order to help other people out.If you found my review helpful please vote yes below or if not please comment and let me know why so I can see what was not helpful and use the feedback to improve future reviews.Many thanks for your time.

In the confusing world of Lumens (after incandescent voltage has now been killed off), I was aprehensive if I had ordered the correct bulbs. It's bad enough that the world is also now filled with a huge variety of fittings, so you can understand my caution of buying before seeing. However, these lamps arrived on time and intact, they fit the sockets and shine brightly. Brilliant in more ways than one!!!The people at Lampaous were courteous after I submitted a question, and were very helpful.

Can't really express an opinion as I haven't used the bulbs yet except to test one, hence only three stars at the moment. However the one I tested looked fine. Strangely I have since had a message from Lampaous asking me to upgrade my review to five stars, which is a bit cheeky and is not how things are supposed to work !! Nevertheless I may still upgrade my review once I have used a couple of these bulbs, but at the moment the current halogen bulbs in my lamps are working fine so they don't need replacing yet.

Product was delivered two days after ordering. All six lamps that were tried worked. Only criticism is that the light is a little too white at present, but that may change as I get used to it. However not a problem as the majority of use will be in the kitchen, and very occasional use in the lounge and bedrooms. I cannot say what the reliability is like as I have only just screwed them in.

Replaced 8 bulbs spot lights in my kitchen with these LED bulbs.All 8 worked, no dead bulbs in the box.When replacing old bulbs with these, be prepaired for the room to look totally different for a day or two, as these bulbs are white rather than the yellowy/white of traditional bulbs. This makes the room look more modern, perfect for kitchens and bathrooms although I personally prefer the more yellowy colour in my living room as it's a warmer colour.These bulbs also feel brighter than the previous bulbs despite the same watts value.I would happily buy these bulbs again for the rest of the house (as required).

very good its a shame that i was not offered a warm white version 2400K i have the 4000K they are a little harsh for a bedroom but they are night quality and well-packed delivery was fast too

It took me a while to put my finger on what was bothering me about the light from these. I think there's a very subtle/fast flicker, which makes moving objects look weird. But maybe I'm unusually sensitive to this.All the bulbs I installed work, and the light is nice and bright. Good for switching on when I'm looking for something, or otherwise need the extra light... but the light has too much of an odd quality to really love.
