Men's Boca Grande Nylon Short

Generally, I like these a lot. They're a *very* light material, but they've proven to be durable enough nonetheless. I was also a bit worried that they'd be sheer and darker underwear would show through (I got the very light "cement" color) but AFAICT that's not a problem. However, I will reiterate two negatives that I see were brought up by other reviewers.(1) The velcro, especially on the back pockets, is a bit *too* strong. It can be a real struggle getting a wallet or a phone in or out. Yeah, I know, use the side pockets. Usually I do, but I'd like to have options.(2) There's way too much material in the front. This is a common problem with non-pleated shorts, but on these it's rather extreme and it's not visible from the picture so it's worth highlighting. As I sit here right now, I can grab enough material to cover a bocce balll and still be comfortable. Unless you're a regular Long Dong Silver *and* you have a roll of fat to fit under there, it's just too much space . . . and if you have that much in front then these will probably not have enough room in the back for you. What kind of mutant forms/models did they use to create the pattern?

I love cargo shorts because you can stuff a lot in the pockets while traveling. I own cotton cargo shorts, but found them too difficult to dry, if hand washed while traveling and staying in a hotel. I have been searching high and low for lightweight cargo shorts that dry quickly to use on my travels, but have been disappointed until I found these Bimini Bay cargo shorts. After owning heavy cotton cargo shorts, I purchased Cargo shorts made of microfiber, which was nice, but the brand I bought always ran too small (Size 32); if I purchased the next size up (Size 34) I was concerned it might run too big.I decided to take a chance on Bimini Bay cargo shorts. I hesitated about the elastic sides on the waistline being too loose or baggy. However, it was a perfect fit: Not too tight, not too loose; just perfect. The nylon (non-stretch) material was lightweight and would dry quickly in an hour or so or overnight, if I traveled. I love it.Pros: Lightweight, quick drying, fits perfectly for Size 32, comfortable elastic sides on waistline.Cons: #1 problem: Cargo pockets are a bit on the small side, and an iPhone 6 in its case will not fit. #2: As others have mentioned, there are two riveted holes in each cargo pockets, possibly to allow water to run out after swimming? #3: Each traditional inside pocket has a 1/2" slit (like a button slit), again, possibly to allow water to run out; these holes can be sewed shut easily.

These feel like a really nice, quick-dry fabric that should be fantastic for hiking. The pockets are awesome and the perfect size to hold a large phone and a big GPS like our Garmin Montana. Velcro closures on the pockets are secure and there's pretty much a place for everything, so great for walking around the amusement park, camping, hiking or whatever but at the same time attractive enough for just regular casual wear. Concealed elastic inside the back waistband makes for a nice fit and a nice look. Length is great for a cargo short, hangs just a little below mid thigh. He doesn't like the hanging-down-to-your-knees-looks-like-you-cut-off-the-bottom-of-your-grandpa's-trousers look.For reference he is 5'11", 180 lbs.

Love these shorts. I originally got a pair at Wally World (for about half the 'zon price) but once they no longer carried them I have bought several more here at Amazon. I am a bit on the "round side" and these shorts are perfect. They don't pinch when I sit down, but they don't fall down when I stand up! I have the kahki and navy colors and both look great. Be careful opening the package. They shipped two pair in nearly impervious white plastic bag container that must have been made from Superman's underware because I nicked one of the pairs with my scissors, trying to get it open! Just be careful opening the package and you'll love the shorts!

This is my 4th pair in a different color. These are exceptional shorts for outdoor activities.Sailing shorts: Velcro pockets keep small items securely locked while on the boat and will not open up in the water. Shorts allow wearer to maneuver on deck in heavy seas. Great fit!Biking shorts: Comfortable for a shorter distance ride when riding shorts are too much. Again, the pockets are helpful and keep items inside.Hiking shorts: Superlative for hiking, great fit, no cutting in the waist or anywhere.Running shorts: Excellent for this activity as well.And they look good around town or going out casually. I have them in black, dark blue, ecru and gray.Excellent product, holds up very well, great quality.

Although these are men's shorts, I had to resort to them because no one seems to make shorts like these for women! Come on clothing manufacturers, women need pockets too, especially when going to Disney World. The fabric is light and dries fast, another must for Disney. Of course they don't fit a woman's curves the way they should, but since they're men's, that's to be expected. I wear a 16 pant and I bought size 40 and size 38. The 40 is more comfortable in the hips, but big in the waist. It helps that there is elastic in the waist. the 38s fit snuggly in the hips, but I can still wear them. The fabric does stretch a tiny bit.

I’ve only wore these shorts once so I can’t say about the durability As of yet but they are very comfortable well-made sizable pockets and I will buy three more right off the batThey are so thin it’s like wearing paper, the wife and I went to the drive-in last night and was there seven hours and the shorts are as comfortable as any other room worn.I used to think thicker shorts would be more comfortable but I was wrong, which is a rarity, love them, stylish and well made, hope they are durable but my gut tells me they are, will update as time goes on.Sized a wee bit small but stretch so I would order your normal size, ty
