Excellent concept everyone should have one!
What a superb concept, would recommend everyone has one of these as part of their home security; use a time plug switch rather than the built in timer and you have a great way of keeping would be intruders from knowing if someone is in!

Looks real!
It looks like there's a real tv on in the room, I would definitely recommend this product. Its small and lightweight too. It has a 4 hour and a 7 hour switch, it would have been better to have had a 2 hour switch too, because not many people watch tv til 2am when it doesnt get dark until 10pm in June/July.

Disappointed
Disappointed with this device as it will not work in the timed modes of Dusk to 4hours and Dusk to 8 hours as it suggests it does in the manual. Will only simulate TV in the non timed mode I.e on all the time. Due to this I had to purchase an electric timer to enable a timed sequence.

Bright and easy to use
Works very well. Also comes with power supply unlike some for sale. Can use the 4 or 8 hour setting or with a timer plug. Very bright! Told about this type of gadget by police.

Fake eindeutig erkennbar
Die Farbwechselabfolge bleibt immer gleich und wiederholt sich etwa minütlich.'Am Schluß' des Zyklus blitzt das Gerät immer 12x sehr hell, was im TV so sicher so gut wie nie vorkommen würde!Selbst für mich als 'Nicht Einbrecher' war dieses Gerät bereits nach weniger als 15min. klar als 'Fake-TV' zu erkennen!Damit wiegt man etwaige Einbrecher die das Gerät kennen eher in Sicherheit, als sie abzuschrecken!

Ermuntert durch viele positive Bewertungen bestellte ich dieses Teil.Dass ich knapp 15 € für den Versand bezahlen mußte, ist mein Fehler.Ich hätte mich ja vorher informieren können.Das erste Gerät verweigerte schlicht seine Arbeit.Kann ja mal vorkommen. Also: Reklamation.Der folgende Schriftwechsel verlief auf Italienisch. Habe mich dann bei Amazon darüber beschwert.Daraufhin kam eine (1) Nachricht des Verkäufers (LOOKATHOME) in schlechtem Deutsch.Anschließend kam eine neue Lieferung, obwohl ich Rückgabe verlangt hatte.Natürlich wieder mit italienischem Begleitschreiben...Das bisher Erwähnte fließt nicht in die Bewertung ein, da es mit dem Gerät selbst nichts zu tun hat.Eine entsprechende Bewertung des Händlers habe ich an anderer Stelle schon abgegeben.Zum Fake-TV:Das nun funktionierende Gerät zeigte aber eine erkennbare Wiederholung der Lichtmuster.Die Beschreibung behauptet: "Die Effekte sind vollständig unvorhersehbar und wiederholen sich nicht."Das ist definitiv nicht so!Besonders blöd ist, innerhalb dieser Wiederholungen (mit einem Intervall von ca. 45 Sekunden) kommt auch eine deutlich sichtbare und unnatürlich wirkende Serie von grünem Blinken vor, das müßte auch dem simpelsten Gauner deutlich zeigen, dass hier ein Fake_TV am Werk ist.Diese Tatsache veranlaßt mich, diesem Teil nur 1 Stern zu geben.Wie der Name schon sagt: Es ist ein Fake...
