These Eartheats To-Go containers were specifically acquired for BBQ leftover handouts. I received no complaints about any issues with the containers. They don't melt, they stay closed, and they hold in the heat/moisture of the food. What more do you need? Recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised to find these clam shells are a fairly thick, very sturdy plastic.They are closed by inserting a box-shaped tab into a box-shaped slot. Manipulation of the closed lid showed it to hold securely, only opening when I pulled it open, which took some effort — it won’t pop open in transit.The way I truly judge a clam shell when storing food is how well it microwaves. I have had ones in the past that have melted after 2 minutes.After microwaving the lunch shown in the picture for 3 minutes, the clam shell did not demonstrate any change in properties. It came out of the microwave just as solid and sturdy as it went in.I ordered these to have on hand for taking my lunches to work. I did not expect the great quality I received.Highly recommended!

Initially ordered these to do some meal prepping in, but life got in the way and we ended up using them to store my husbands leftovers for lunch in them! They work absolutely fantastic for this so I know they'd be great for meal prep as well! Definitely holds a good bit of food and stores nicely in the fridge (or freezer if you need to go that route as well) warms up so well, with no warping of the plastic at all. I did watch my husband put this into a grocery bag and carry it around and I gotta admit the whole time my anxiety was ramped just waiting on something to leak out- but it never happened! These boxes kept everything in with no issues, mess, or leaks at all. The best part is they are dishwasher safe and come out looking brand new, with no warp or fogginess to them at all so we can store them away and reuse them again and again! I would definitely recommend because while they are reusable, they aren't that hardcore if you find you really just need to toss it as well!

These are great for traveling with small kids! When we stay at hotels, we load up on the breakfast because our kids like to snack on it all day. We pack it in these carryout containers and they're also great for storing dinner leftovers and dishing food out to the kids when we're on a road trip. I can unpack their happy meals and stick them in the boxes to hand back to them in their seats, and then it makes less of a mess and they have somewhere to put their food. We can also store that for later. Overall, great purchase!
