Work on 2002 4.7L 45RFE transmission
November 2019, I purchased for my 4.7L 2002 Dodge with a code of P0841. Removed and replaced it worked great no problems, I erased the codes and have driven it for 60 miles, codes didn't come back. The sensor is on the passenger side towards the back of the transmission, just above the transmission oil pan. Simple change out only needed an 8mm socket (deep well, or short with an extension) and ratchet. Dealer wanted $80 for an OEM, not including labor. I'll see how this one does.

Does not work
I was getting a P0933 code. I purchased the Doorman sensor since an OEM UNIT was not locally available. It never actually worked. Showed a code for low voltage intermittently. Thinking I still had a transmission problem, I had a transmission shop look at the truck. They deduced that there was an electrical issue since I replaced the sensor. They could not fix the problem. Before taking the truck to another shop, I found an OEM in another town. Installed the OEM sensor and the codes went away. Either a faulty one or just a horrible design. Should have gone with OEM like I was supposed to when it comes to Mopar sensors.

Did not work
Did not work, had to buy OEM part to resolve problem. Worst part was by the time I installed the part and found out it was not working and then took to to the shop, the 30 day return period was over. So now I’m out $40

Fixed the erratic shifting problems on my Selectotrac transmission in the Grand Cherokee.
This along with the output speed sensor did the trick. Happy these parts are made available on Amazon. The price and availability are excellent.
