I read every review for every heated throw going and this one seemed to come out on top. A lot of them appear to stop working after a few months. I'm happy to say this one is excellent! Very soft, heats nicely (feels subtle at first but it does get going) and feels well made. Would buy again and that's all you really need to know!Bonus tip: the first time I used mine it took forever to get warm. After that it was fine! I previously bought 2 of the double sherpa fleece for my family and we love them. Huge, cosy and toasty warm within 30mins.For my personal use in my bedroom and 3rd purchase I got the fur in grey and it is the thickest and heaviest of them all! It stays warm long after it's switched off and feels divine, I love to stroke it!Having bought 3 of these in the past 3 months my advice for success is as follows:- Buy the extra insurance offered by Amazon so you have 2/3 yrs of peace of mind should it malfunction- Read the instructions booklet fully before using. For all the Blankets the first 2- 3 times they hardly got hot especially the 1st time. I would lay them flat and put them on for 1hr and switch it off. By the 3rd /4th time I would use it and it would work fine. I call this breaking in period "seasoning" the blanket- Everytime I use it I lay it flat first when warming it up- Treat it with care. Don't leave it crumpled up especially when it's still warm. Yes it's a blanket but it's still an electronic deviceEnjoy!

Like many, the cost of energy has forced us to rethink how we stay warm in winter. We bought one of these a year ago, and I have this wrapped around me in my study as I WFH two days a week. I used to use an electric radiator - not a chance now.It is warm enough without the blanket on, and it's soft and fluffy if that's your thing. In terms of heat output, it ranges from Low, through to High, and seven increments in between. It takes about 10 minutes to heat up, and once it does, it does a great job at keeping me warm. It can drop below 15C in my study on the coldest days; this blanket makes all the difference.So, seeing as I took full ownership, I got another for the kids, and wife this winter. These blankets are large, so spread out on the sofa, they can watch TV.Needless to say, it's saved us a lot of money over the year alone, the heating can be set lower for less time, and these blankets cost pennies an hour to heat. They have an inbuilt timer and will automatically switch (if you fall asleep!).In short, they are durable, machine washable (not that we have tried), and are supplied with a long cable (about 2 metres). Recommended.

After buying my first heated throw last year I now consider them to be an essential item. I suffer from a debilitating pain condition and the heat from this blanket really helps. Even on the days when the pain is not bad, the family joke is that I still like my blanket for the ‘comfort value’ because there is something really comforting about it. My first blanket developed a fault and the customer service from that company was quite frankly appalling, so I thoroughly researched buying a new blanket to try and ensure I would not have the same problem and experience again.I knew that I wanted something that was a dark grey colour, a large/extra large size, something that was machine washable and had many positive Amazon reviews. This blanket ticked all those boxes and, although it was slightly more than I originally wanted to pay, I ordered it. The blanket has nine heat settings and a timer so you can pick what you want to suit your needs. The material is a nice, deep grey colour and lovely and soft. Even on a warmer day the blanket is a really nice cover, even when switched off. When switched on it warms up quite quickly and has a lovely comforting heat. I washed the blanket before use and found it stayed just as soft as before.I am more than pleased with this blanket. It really does make a big difference to my life and I am hoping it keeps working for a long time. It really is a five star product but as it was quite expensive I have to knock off one star. So this is a four star product but definitely five stars in terms of comfort and ease of use,

Honestly amazing heated blanket! It has 9 heat settings and the hottest setting is unreal. I work from home and during the winter I just have the blanket on, and it keeps me nice and warm throughout the day. Saves me money on the heating too! A couple of months after I bought it, the wire broke on the blanket and the company sent me a new one straight away. Outstanding customer service and unreal blanket. 10/10!!!

I have been delighted with my throw, so cosy and comforting and helps to save on the heating. However, it has just failed to work and I feel very let down. I can't afford a new one and as I cannot find my proof of purchase then that is that. Apart from anything else what a waste of materials.Very disappointed.

Bought as a gift for my wife and she adores it. It was used so much over the winter I think it’s enjoying its rest now the weather is warmer. The size is great, the control is easy to use and it heats up quick.The only down side is where the cable connects to the blanket. It’s at the bottom, so if your plus is a little way away, you can’t get to the controller very easily. So, logically, you turn the blanket round, but then you have a wire by your face and that’s not so great. I think if the cable was a little thinner and more flexible, it would be much better overall, but that’s all I have to moan about with this. Otherwise, it really is great.

Gefällt mir gut. Material weich und kuschelig. Heizfunktion und Bedienung gut. Würde ich noch mal kaufen.

Groot formaat bevalt ons prima, groot genoeg voor 2 personen. Snel op ingestelde temperatuur. Deken ligt op de bank en door de sherpa wollen achterkant verschuift deze (in tegenstelling tot vele andere dekens) niet.Jammer dat de afstandsbediening alleen verlicht na aanzetten, na het instellen gaat verlichting ook weer uit, je moet dus wel ff onthouden welke knop je moet hebben.Nu 6 weken in gebruik, en werkt nog steeds zoals het hoort.
