Great trick deck! Super quality as these are a REAL Bicycle deck.
I've always liked magic, and while I am NOT a magician, I have several books and have learned a few tricks over the years.This deck is a "stripper" deck, which means that it has been cut (shaved) very slightly on one side so that one end of the cards is slightly wider than the other. This allows for easy identification / separation of one or more targeted cards by simply having them placed into the deck in the opposite orientation. Pulling the deck apart by the sides will then result in any reversed cards coming out together and all others remaining otherwise unaffected. There are lots of different specific executions of tricks that could use this, and you can easily make up your own specific preparation, patter, and execution, but the effect is pretty much foolproof. It makes a simple "pick a card, any card trick" mostly impossible to fail. (The only "gotcha" is to ensure that the selected card or cards go back into the deck correctly, so if your audience handles a freely selected card, for example, make sure they don't spin the card if you have already reversed the orientation of the rest of the deck, otherwise your target card will get lost.)The very best thing about this deck, in my opinion, is that this is an official Bicycle branded deck of cards. I've seen gaffed decks that are obviously cheap, poor quality knock off decks, and they immediately raise suspicion. These look like real cards because they ARE real cards. They've just been altered after the fact. But they come sealed and shrink wrapped just like a normal Bicycle deck, and there are NO indications that this is a gaffed deck.
