Heavy Duty Paint Remover 1 litre

This stuff is perfect for those pain in the back jobs that are driving you mad.I'm renovating a house and the old radiators that are caked in paint were a bug bear of mine. I tried a couple of strippers that supposedly dissolved paint and they didn't even crack the surface!!This stuff however.... I did a light test patch and within 5 mines it was bubbling and I sat back with a cuppa and listened to the satisfactory crackling of breaking paint and within 15 minutes it was peeling back itself.After 45 minutes i ran a glove over the top and just gently brushed the lose bits and that is the picture you can see.I can now start in earnest and get these old things done and cleaned in a quarter of the time I thought would be needed.

Since Nitromors changed their formula, rendering their paint stripper more or less useless (I used an entire can on an area of about one square foot and still needed more), I have been loooking for an effective product. This is it.

After reading all of the good reviews for this product I though I would shell out the £18.00 for a tin to use on a well weathered and pitted metal railing at the front of my bungalow. After opening the tin I was somewhat surprised to see the contents resembling nothing more than a well mixed bowl of wallpaper paste, how the heck was this stuff going to remove the old white paint from my metal railing ? well, the answer, it didn't, it didn't even make any inroads in to it at all, in fact I got better results just using a stiff wire brush by itself. I suppose you do take a chance in buying these type of products and on this occasion for me anyway it was just a waste of my £18.00, definitely something I couldn't recommend.

Purchased to remove paint and lacquer on old aluminium beer fonts prior to respraying. Other paint removers had little effect but with this stuff the aluminium was as clean as a whistle within minutes. Truly a brilliant product. I was surprised by the low odour.

This was the 3rd paint stripper I had bought to try and remove paint from my aluminum bike frame, and oh my god does this make quick work of stripping paint!!I have stripped the frame and forks using one tin, and it was so simple. Definitely use this in a very well ventilated room or outside coz the fumes can be a bit "funky".Next time I need to strip paint off a bike frame this is going to be my first and only purchase.

Used this to strip the paint off a m/c petrol tank. Took off the top layer of paint almost immediately but the primer needed more effort. However the paint stripper is very runny so has to be applied carefully. Not sure if it should be like this as most paint strippers I have used in the past have been quite thick and gel like.
