After trying three other wallet/phone combos. This one has the features that make sense. Maybe a little more room for cash but it's sufficient. Other products magnetic latch when opened, lies on the face of the phone. So annoying ! This product, drops down out of the way when opened !**(90 Day Update) **I already left a favorable review because I was more concerned with the CC & cash storage but there's a feature I never considered that really helped me this week !! Omg saved my butt ... !Honestly, I didn't realize the detachable magnet feature until I dropped it and thought the case broke. I still luv the storage capability and the latching is still amazing. (I've tried so many cases but the card slots get weak, making it easy to lose a card... not with this case! )Well when departing my boat slip phone case in hand, I clipped the dock box and the phone somersaulted into 14 feet of San Diego salt water under my boat. Two divers spent about 6 hrs over two days but the bottom has about an arms length of silt and it was impossible to recover my phone case.Fortunately the "Magnetic Backing" of the case allowed me to fish it from the sea floor with a large magnet the next day !!!Totally saved me !! , iPhone 10 is shot but who cares. I had renters checks of $3500 & $880 cash , my Drivers license, TSA card, AAA & boatUS , personal CC & Debit cards, all my corporate CC's , company & personal gas cards, commercial Home Depot CC and to top it off an Amazon $100 gift card.So I rinsed the case off in fresh water and I'm using it again !Anyhow , the "magnetic backing" was a feature I never focused on ! But I'm thankful ! It's priceless to me now !

I love this case! Unlike other "wallet" cases, this one really does hold several cards. I have my driver's license plus 9 credit/loyalty cards in it and they are easy to pull out. I like the little handle you can clasp on and put around your wrist to keep the phone secure and reduce the risk of dropping it. And I REALLY love that you can separate the phone but it is still protected by its own case. So when I am out at a concert or party and want to take pictures or video, I don't have the front of the case hanging there like I did with a previous one. This is by far the best iPhone case I have ever owned -- and it's a bargain.

My last phone case had a plastic part that the phone snapped into. Taking it in or out caused that part to crack and finally break all the way through, making it barely functional. This case uses a magnet to hold the phone in place and I love that it’s so easy to remove. The snap between the two wallet parts is also an upgrade from my last case and I feel more secure knowing that if I drop the case, my cards are less likely to go flying out. The only part of this case/wallet that isn’t perfect is the strap that closes the whole thing. It’s almost not long enough if you have a lot of cards filling all the inside pockets. The magnet is too weak to hold it closed and most of the time I have to squeeze the case closed to get the strap magnet to even engage at all. As soon as I put it down, the magnet loses its hold and the case falls open. It really is a great case...I just wish the strap was a touch longer and the magnet was stronger.

After reading a plethora of reviews on this product . . . I purchased it. Arrived today. Great quality. Just what I needed with regards to room for more than 5 cards. However, several reviewers indicated that the magnetic tension on the back of the case (to hold the iphone in place) wasn't strong enough. So . . . I had planned to velcro my phone to the case. However, now that I have received it . . . I have no idea what those purchasers are referring to. I held the case I received today upside down (over the couch) and shook it as hard as I could . . . and the magnetic tension never released. Not only that, but the iphone DID NOT MOVE from its position.Keeping it.

I have been using a "clutch style" phone case for a few years now... different phones, different cases. This is by far the best one I've ever found!1) Slots for 8 cards and a picture - plus a pocket for bills!2) Very soft, flexible leather material. Well made and sturdy, but not bulky. Magnets are strong3) Everything fits! Cards fit. Phone fits.4) The phone is held in with strong magnets. I love this feature that lets me pull my phone out quickly and easily, still protected - and put it back just as easily.I ordered mine in brown... and I'm reordering a black one immediately.If you like your phone and wallet being in the same case, and have more than 1 or 2 cards - this is the case for you!

You might think this may just be an "okay" case because of the price. I was a little skeptical myself. I also wasn't sure I would like the phone being held to the back by a magnet. Well, it is much more than an "okay" case. The quality is excellent. I've had it for several months now and it showing NO signs of wear and it isn't leather but it looks like leather. I have accidentally scratched it twice with my fingernail and was so upset that I had ruined my case. But, not so. It has a "self healing" quality. After an hour or so, you can't even see where it was scratched. As for the magnet, it's very strong and holds the phone very securely. One of the best things though is because it's a wallet case with the phone secured with a magnet, it's very easy and convenient to take the phone out instead of having to bend the wallet portion back when using the phone. I have seven credit cards plus my licence in the wallet part and it closes with no problem and without being bulky. This isn't a cheap phone case. This is an fantastic inexpensive find!

I like that I can remove my phone for use without having to hold the whole case. It seems to me that the magnets that hold the phone in place are strong enough. I also like that no one can see my cards when I open my phone. The snap that holds the wallet part seems to be sturdy enough. It came packaged well. Im not sure about the durability because I haven’t had it long enough.

This is a gift for my wife, I chose it for it's color because it's the same as her car. She likes that it holds a lot of cards and the detachable phone case which she can easily mount the phone into the car phone mount without the unnecessary weight of the whole wallet case.However, 2 issues with the detachable phone case. #1 power button seems to be pressed by the case, my solution is to cut out that part from the case, exposing the actual phone's power button. #2 opening of the charging port of the case is small. The aftermarket lightning cables keeps on detaching from the phone, the only cable that stays is iPhones out-of-the-box lightning cable. My solution is to carve out a bigger opening. Just wondering, I ordered the same brand and style of this wallet case but in black, and the opening is wide already, so no issues whatsoever. Even the power button did not have the same problem (#1). The only other difference is this wallet case is for iPhone 8 Plus, while my black case is for iPhone 11.

I have an iPhone 8. The phone fits well enough except for one very big glaring problem. None of the side buttons work properly. The 2 side buttons that control the volume wants to power down the phone when I press either one. The button that is supposed to power down the phone does absolutely nothing. This is a huge problem as it renders what is otherwise a nice case, totally useless. Would I recommend this to a friend? Not on your life.

Great quality for the money, I like the fact I can remove the phone from the wallet (magnetic) this way I can have just the phone laying around the house to use, and when I go out I attached the wallet part!
