2024 LAUNCH Creader Elite Bidirectional Tool fit for Ford Lincoln Mercury Mazda, Full Systems All Resets OBD2 Scanner, PMI Function Diagnostic Scanner, Battery Registration, Lifetime Free Update

I purchased this to program a key for my 2014 Ford F150. The key had been cut and cloned, but was not paired to the truck for ignition start. Within 10 minutes of receiving this unit and powering it on, I had the key paired to the truck. This thing works! Now, in addition to having been able to program the key I needed, I have a great OBDII scanner that, after going through all the menus, recognizes all the features and functions of my Ford truck and is able to address more than a few. All this for less than the cost of programming the key at my local Ford dealer ($225 as of July 27); I certainly recommend this tool at this price.

Works as advertised and more. Found and cleared codes I didn't even know were there.

4/23/24I really wanted to give this product a real chance and I did have high hopes for it. I have to give credit to the owners as they reached out to me right away, however I'm not sure if English is their strong hold. They said the downloads are indeed free. So I again tried it, I connected it to wifi, and made an attempt to download and it asked for credit card information, nowhere on the site does it say they are free and I really didn't feel comfortable putting my credit card on file. I don't understand why do we need to download these things? If we are here to buy this product it is because we are specifically looking for a Ford scanner reset tool, it should have everything for a Ford within it especially for the price we are paying. This scan tool is fast as I previously mentioned, but the "Mall" download store isn't free, there is a yearly fee, and you have to pay for each reset option. Maybe that is a website glitch that they need to figure out, but there was no way I was going to allow this to pass the return stage without that site being fixed.So as I update this, those download options aren't free. If they fix it, then this scan tool will be more than worth it. My advice is have the features already downloaded for the vehicle that it's supposed to work for.---------------------------------------------Original reviewI gave this product 4 hours of my life that I can never get back!Now, the good! The report it gives you about your car is great! It's very detailed, it tells you what's wrong with each module.Now, that's it!I bought this due to having a evap engine light on and I needed to reset the TPMS and I also wanted to reset the APIM module. Before I bought this I was using a $50 scanner that told me what was wrong and allowed me to reset engine light.Now, after 4 hours of messing with it, and that's including updating the machine, I decided to stop being macho and read the manual to figure out how to reset the light, and how to reset everything that I wanted to reset. After reading the manual I became very angry, you have to pay for the feature to reset anything. To make it worst, if you do decide to pay, it's a yearly subscription and not a permanent thing. This was a complete slap in the face and for the price, even with the discount given, isn't worth it.The machine was great, fast, very fast, but the fact that they advertise that you don't have to pay for anything in the "mall" their store and that isn't true.False advertising and it did absolutely nothing for me.So if you're willing to pay for their reset options, you're getting a very fast unit, but the fact that you have to pay for the features of this unit isn't a good look when it says in the ad that you don't

Unit apparently uses a built in battery that gets charged via USB port. That battery got discharged. After 5 hours charging it powered on. It should have a proper off on switch to help prevent battery draining. Still a good scan tool. Just don't let the battery go flat lol

This thing is amazing for the price all the features offers. I am not a mechanic, but I have worked on cars my whole life. Changes my old ABS Module and needed to reprogram the new one this let’s you do it both with and with out the old module(great cause I had shipped off the old one) ever this is super easy to understand and can really give you all the info the vehicle has. Saw some guy had to pay idk why cause everything was free and updated itself super easy 15 out of 10 best scanner

I love this little scan tool! I have another scanner that was way more expensive and this thing does almost everything my larger scanner does, but just for Ford products. I love the lifetime updates too, updates on my other scanner once a year cost more than buying this scanner!If you own or work on Ford products, then this is a great scanner for you!You can graph multiple items at once such as long and short term fuel trims, court sensors, throttle position, etc.it has big directional controls so you can activate items such as purge valves, egr, etc to make sure an item is working properly before and after a repair!Launch makes great, affordable products, highly recommend!

The scanners I received from my initial order failed on setup. The units present the START, SYSTEM LANGUAGE, and TIME ZONE screens and then NEXT from the TIME ZONE screen opens the NETWORK SETUP screen where the unit just clocks. My WiFi broadcast matches the unit specs. I can back up to the START and run through the screens again but with the same result. The clocking does not time out and there is no option to escape this step. The User's Manual on page 11, section 4.2, paragraph 4 states at the NETWORK screen, slide the switch to ON and the unit will search for and display all available wireless LANs. The screen image is presented as fig. 4-1. This step does not come up on the units. I returned the scanners and requested a replacement.I received the replacement scanners today and these units performed the same as the first scanners. Since both scanners have the same defect, I can only conclude that the scanners are not being quality tested. Returning both scanners and requesting a refund. I do not recommend ordering Launch scanners.
