Great value. Only used for overnight oats so far as pickling season not here yet. Bought for pickling gherkins as my family go through loads and these will be a great jar for pickling.

I needed some additional storage jars in my kitchens for my dry foods and come across this set. The set contains 4 500ml jars with extra lids with 2 lids having a straw hole.The jars arrived well packaged to protect them during transit and are ready to use. The screw lids don't have the usual silicone seal I'm used to on air tight jars but the lids do have a rubber ring inside the lid and do screw quite tight, so maybe this is what keeps them air tight?The jars are very versatile due to their size and can be used for any purpose, I'm using them to store dried foods such as a grains and pastas. The Jars also feel pretty strong, but I'm not sure if they're dishwasher safe. There is nothing in the listing or packaging to suggest they are but to play it safe I will hand wash them only.In terms of pricing they're reasonably priced at under £10 for 4 500ml jars with interchangeable lids, I would say they're on par in terms of quality in similar jars at your local discount store.

Good volume inside, happy with heat tolerance of glass too. Great price too. Well worth it!

These mason jars are great, they are the same type that i like to use for canning. Set of 4 good 500ml size jars that come with general lids plus 2 each of 2 part canning lids and ones for making the jars into drinking glasses, you just have to provide your own straw.Thick glass jar, well made and lots of uses. Very pleased with them.

Handy set of 4 half litre glass storage jars. The lids incorporate a silicone sealing ring that should keep the contents fresh for a long time. Spare lids plus extras with straw holes in them are provided. Decent value and ideal for storage when you need to monitor the stock of your ingredients. Recommended.
