Works very well. Easy to install
I recommend this item. It made a huge difference in the laundry room temperature after installation. Does not come with screws so that is one drawback. The plastic is also a bit thin, so be careful moving your dryer and don't overtighten the hose clamp.

Stops backdraft of outside air from going back into the dryer.
This does a great job preventing cold air from being blown back into the dryer if you get strong winds. I noticed the clothes dries quicker because the cold air is not making it back into the dryer. It was really easy to install but make sure you have it positioned correctly. There’s one side that’s supposed to face the outside so that the flap opens when the dryer is exhausting heat out and it stays closed to prevent cold air from getting blown back in. This gets installed on the inside of your home.

Helps prevent backdrafts and moisture buildup
Doesn't fit exactly into the stuff my landlord has but it is pretty close. Since my new neighbor moved into the apartment next door, the dryer has been having moisture build up whenever the neighbor uses the dryer. Highly irritating as my clothes get moldy. The neighbor and landlord won't do anything about it so i fixed it myself with this. Works great.

Solved a long time in-home dryer dust and lint problem. See update.
Solved a long time problem with dryer lint and dust being drawn into the house and mostly caused by the negative pressure created when running a bathroom exhaust fan. UPDATE: The heat from my dryer warped the plastic flapper causing it not to close tightly, not only that, a short time later dust accumulates preventing the closing of the flapper.

Works but you will need to modify.
Ordered 3 of these and every one stuck open and would not close after being blown open. The holes holding in the flap were not cleanly made and that was keeping the flap from closing. I easily bored out the holes and it worked as it should. I'm giving this three stars because when you get a thing new it should just work as advertised without you having to modify it or fix bad craftsmanship.

Great Product
My Apartment Didn't Have A Flap On Our Dryer Connection And Heat Was Coming Back Through From Others Dryer And Our Own. Once We Installed This Very Easily, It Has Been Working For The Past Two Years Very Well. Great Product.
