Soundbar, Wotmic Wired and Wireless Home Speaker for TV Bluetooth Sound Bar Speaker with Remote Control 38-inch Wall Mountable 2.0 Channel Audio

I don't know why this thing has such a great review. Sound quality is only ok, barely better than the on-board speakers in my 5+ year old TV.That's fine though. For $99 I wasn't looking for amazing sound. What kills me are some of it's quirks.Fistly is turning it off and on. It makes this chime sound at what seems like FULL VOLUME! Why would it do that? It's the home theater equivalent of the Kool Aid man smashing through your living room wall. And turning it off IT DOES THE SAME THING!?! Imagine it's 10pm. Your family is asleep. You turn off your sound bar for the night and "OHHH YEEAAAAHHH" it chimes itself off. So stupid.After this stupid thing turned off I stopped when I continued to hear white noise. 'that couldn't be the sound bar..?' I thought. I leaned in close and sure enough it was the damn bar. Humming away even when powered down! I had to unplug it to get some peace and quiet. What a piece of junk. Spend the extra money and get yourself a name-brand.

This sound bar seems pretty decent, for the price, although I have nothing with which to compare it besides the TV's speakers. I was getting a vibration from certain sounds from my TV speakers, and this sound bar solves that. I had to go into the TV's settings to change from "music" to "movie" to get the right sound. I have not been able to get the sound I wanted, but close. At certain settings the "s" sounds of voices are intolerable. I wish there were a way to adjust the treble, midrange and bass. I can do it within the TV, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.I have a new but inexpensive LG flatscreen, so it doesn't have bluetooth or any of the other bells and whistles.My main beef is the subwoofer connection on the back. No instructions about what type of connector to use, and I have yet to get it to work.

Truly the worst soundbar I've ever owned. Stay away. Very low power, connecting it to my TV via optical and a Polk 12" subwoofer at max volume this soundbar could barely drive the subwoofer and was quiet than my TV at about 50% volume. I connected with my phone on Bluetooth and it was a bit louder. Then I tried getting my Nexus player streambox to see it and connect on bluetooth and after several reboots it just won't see this soundbar. I paid $60 for this and it's not worth even $10. I immediately returned it. I've owned many brands of cheaper sound bars and none have been as bad as this one.

Just got this today. Easy hook up, good look and size. Very light. But, I think the sound quality is pretty mediocre so far. Will give it another day and see if I return. I suppose there’s a reason it’s a $100 soundbar. But with almost all five star reviews, I thought I’d give it a shot. It’s probably fine for the average person, but I can just tell music isn’t as clear as it should be. Voices sound different. Etc.

When I purchased, it had a nearly five star review. Since hooking it up, reviews are down below three. Something doesn’t smell right. In any case, it’s a pretty poor quality soundbar - albeit still better than the television speakers but not what it should be by any means. At mid volume, during high intensity and loud movie scenes, it cracks like a blown speaker. The dialogue is difficult to understand but the background noise is very clear. The wall mount broke on install, so I can’t return it but In hindsight, i would definitely purchase a different product.

The description makes it sound so easy to set up. The only thing that works is the Bluetooth. Can’t get it to work with any of our TV’s. Not happy as the return window is closed. Update 8/26. Ordered another different brand of sound bar. It works great and was easy to set up. Disappointed the original one I bought want replaced.

Very cheap wall mount brackets! I broke one off during the initial install and had to use Gorilla Glue to re-attach the mount. I finally got the sound bar mounted and tested the Bluetooth. Worked great, but speakers aren’t very loud. Finally was able to check optical input today and found out that it didn’t work. Needless to say, I will be returning this speaker and purchasing a different brand.

This unit has a decent sound and you can crank it up pretty well but when you use the power it off you get a light buzzing noise from it. I have to turn it off with the power switch on the back of the unit because it drives me crazy!
