I have a small dachshund that u use this for that works on her when having to get her seen at the veterinarian so she does not bite him when getting her nails done. She does not like it. But it does the trick. I would recommend though slowly adapting the dog to getting used to it. Try 20 minutes for a week then increasing every week till you get to a hour. Just have to get the dog used to it to get a routine. Also it is breathable and dog not hurt the dog with also using to stop from barking as well.

When I groom my toy poodle, she sometimes wants to bite the equipment or me. I only use the muzzle if she is interfering. I like that it still allows me to give her treats and stops the biting.

These muzzles are fantastic for our Brittany pups. They weren’t real fond of them at first but they settled down and quit chewing everything soon after they had these on. The pups didn’t fight them so they must be comfortable.

I got this for my dog who barks at everything we pass hoping that it would deter her from barking at everything. I used it once and after doing some research on dog muzzles decided against using it for a bark deterrent. I do however use it when clipping the dogs nails which makes it quite a bit easier to clip their nails.

When I first got it out, I sized it to the dogs head and it was a good fit. Unfortunately I can’t say how long it will last because the dog got ahold of it when it was off and chewed the plastic connector pieces. He only wore it one time. So it worked at first.

My bub hates the vet. Like, really hates the vet. Since he's got a big old head on his grumpy body and likes to make a big old stink with barking and growling. We only use the muzzle at the vet when his doctor is not available. We only use it because it seems to calm him down. Yes, further training is required, and being done, but that takes time and he needs vet care until the positives out weight his negative history at the vets.He actually likes the muzzle. On first wearing he didn't paw or resist. He didn't try to get thd muzzle off. Being adjustable allows him to drink and pant without restriction. I love the soft build, no points to bind or pinch.Please don't keep a muzzle on more than absolutely necessary. Please do not leave your dog attended with the muzzle on. This is only a protective measure until training away reactive behaviors is possible.

It fit my puppy but he hated it. He just didn't want to wear it. For me. It was a great Item
