Used the jars to make pitfall traps for small ground-running insects. Cut a hole in the lid, inserted a funnel in the mouth of the jar and a drain in the bottom to keep it from flooding in rain. Replaced the lid, now a ring since the hole was taken from the center, and screwed it in place over the rim of the funnel. Deters small mammals from opening the trap and eating the catch before I get there. Since the pitfalls were installed, I've collected large numbers of a kind of beetle long thought to be rare in my area, but now demonstrated to be widespread and abundant, also a new state record for another species. An example of low-budget citizen science. These jars perfectly fit a funnel available at my local hardware store, hold lots of specimens as opposed to the usual deli cups buried to the rim, protect the contents from raiding animals, and in just a few weeks of use have helped transform our understanding of two native species of insects. I'm sure they'd make excellent food storage containers too.

I’m using these for smaller canisters in my kitchen cabinet & they are great. They’re well-made, the lids fit tight & the grip makes them easy to retrieve. They also included labels. Thank you for that. But why are they priced so high?

I'm probably not using these like most people but they're awesome nonetheless! If you board your horse at a big barn and don't have time to be out every day to throw all your supplements and grain together for feed time, these containers are life savers. I hate those stupid gallon ziplock bags for grain because it seems so wasteful and they rip so easily. These jars are really sturdy and have lasted me an entire year so far without breaking (only one of my lids has cracked so far more from neglect than product design). Perfectly fit all my horses's supplements and grain and make life so much easier for both me and the barn staff at feed time! The cute little labels that come with them are awesome too! If you're looking for new daily grain containers, these are awesome!

These are nice, but Pricey, for what they are... BUT, They "fit the bill" for our needs.Hubby is happy with them. He uses them to organize "small parts" in his work van.

I have purchased several of these containers. These are great for bulk items. I like there is a recessed area for easy gripping.

We are using these to hold different types of epsom salts. I used the labels to write down what scent is in each tub. My daughter accidentally dropped a full tub into an empty bathtub and it didn’t shatter or even crack. We are very please at how cute these look next to our tub and how durable and air tight it is.

These are working out perfectly. My garage was full of half-empty, poorly marked, and in some cases poorly sealed paint cans from different rooms, projects, etc.. These containers are perfect! Wide mouth so it’s easy to pour paint in/out, and even use as a pail for touchups. They’re transparent so I know in an instant which paint is which, and I know they are now sealed air tight, so no more surprises to find out I wasted half a gallon of paint because the lid wouldn’t seal like I had with the old metal gallon buckets.

I am happy with my purchase. I only filled one container so far with my laundry soap but will be filling the other two shortly. They are just the size I wanted and I love the little labels as well. Would recommend these storage containers. Please look at the size before purchasing so you are not on here giving bad reviews because you did not read the measurements.
