A great adjunct to researchers
A good selection of scarce and rare Thompson interviews. Especially the audio transcriptions. Others are nearly impossible to find in full-text format on the internet. And there is little overlap with other Thompson interview books. A great adjunct to researchers!

Book of Non-revelations
There’s little profound insight to be gained from these interviews, most of which occurred long after HST’s heyday. Slick packaging and nice artwork, but it’s one of the weaker entries in the Last Interview series.

Completely amazing. So packed with hilarious details
Completely amazing. So packed with hilarious details, late-in-life insights, and just absolutely far-out perspectives. It's unbelievable. I love this series, and this is one of the best titles in it. Thank you, Melville House!

I like the way it ranges over a lot of material ...
I am really enjoying these interviews and the firsthand information from the editor. Holds my attention. I like the way it ranges over a lot of material and is very well selected. It's interesting that the editor actually knew Hunter Thompson and draws on that for anecdotes.
