Great resource for makers
This book saved me a lot of time. I was designing a garage door opener using iButtons and Pi 3 and the three chapters on the 1-wire bus provided everything I needed to know. This is the most extensive and in depth coverage of the 1-wire bus I could find. The chapters on the DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor also inspired me to add extra functionality to my project. The rest of the book seems to be as good on basic GPIO, I2C and the other buses. I've moved on to using sockets to allow me to communicate between Raspberry Pis in my programs.I really liked the direct no-driver approach because the code I now have is completely self contained and has no dependencies on other peoples code.

Great for understanding a bit better how to maximise I/O inputs. There's a lot of extra information out there but at least here you know it works.

After reading was able to figure out writing C code into Raspberry PI to program E2PROM via I2C bus and ADC and DAC converters over SPI bus
